Post-apocalyptic "Showa America" and "A teenage girl revived from the dead"
Showa 66, Japan has bought out most of the United States with its strong economic power. A surge of immigration has firmly planted Japanese culture within the American continent. Two cultures are rapidly amalgamated, although conflicts are inevitable, citizens gradually adapt to a life never imagined as time goes by.
However, a mysterious catastrophic incident changes the world drastically. The social order is long gone. An unknown amount of time passes, a teenage girl mysteriously revives from the dead, only to find a brand new wild post-apocalyptic world with zombies, monsters, and human survivors of different backgrounds and beliefs.
What happened to me and the whole world? With many questions in her mind and trying to find answers, Choko embarks on an adventurous journey across the United States that will change her forever.
Fast-paced Exciting and Strategy-based Combat
Second life is not the only thing given to the girl, but also a mysterious and frightening power.
The game features a rich weapon arsenal and a fierce, direct combat style. Players face hordes of enemies in fast-paced battles, moving, attacking, dodging, and countering with fluid precision. Get ready to bathe in a sea of ketchup.
Along the way, Choko will get her hands on all manner of tools — melee weapons, ranged firearms, and other strange contraptions besides. Players can freely mix and match weapons with varying stats to execute a range of combat moves and attack styles against a colorful cast of enemies.
"Living and become stronger" in "A Journey of 80s Pop Culture"
It's more than just combat in Choko's long journey.
As you take on main and side quests, you'll steep yourself in the unique culture of "Showa America" while uncovering the intriguing stories of the wasteland's eccentric survivors.
With a massive RV as your home on wheels, you can put the weapons, outfits, items, and experience gained from your travels to good use. Along the way, you'll upgrade Choko's stats and unlock new abilities through a range of playful "Daily Activities" — plus mini-games packed with era-specific nostalgia and unexpected surprises. Anyone who loves 80s and 90s culture will find plenty of childhood memories waiting to be rediscovered, faded with time but still cherished. Live life to the fullest in this post-apocalyptic world, and never stop growing.
