Kureha (voiced by Ayane Sakura)
The protagonist’s childhood friend, and a cheerful and lively girl. Since she considers the protagonist to be like a younger brother / sister, she can be a bit meddlesome.
Her gameplay style is offensive tank, and she specializes in fighting at middle distance. Given her natural cheerfulness, caring personality, and connection to the protagonist as a childhood friend, she often acts like a senior player towards the protagonist, who is a beginner in the world of virtual reality MMOs.
She has been a member of many squadrons, and knows the state of “Gun Gale Online” very well, whether its the famous players, changes in rankings, and so on.
She has a cheerful and lively personality, but is sometimes shy when asked about her goal to become a top player or her strength.

Zeliskam (voiced by Mamiko Noto)
A reliable and cute big sister-type who gives off a motherly and broad-minded aura. Contrary to her appearance, she is one of the top players of “Gun Gale Online” with a high level of player skill.
She has low VIT, so rather than fight on the front lines, she compensates for her lack of VIT by creating favorable conditions through the use of buffs and gadgets. While she is not assertive when it comes to clearing stages and going up in the rankings, her top-level game skills have earned her the nickname, “Uncrowned Queen.”
Like the protagonist, Zeliskam possesses an ArFA-sys “Type-X,” who she named “Daisy” and cherishes. At first, she sees the protagonist as an inexperienced player who simply got lucky, but as the protagonist grows, she will come to recognize their ability.
In “Gun Gale Online,” she intentionally keeps other players at a distance in order not to stand out, but that seems to have something to do with her real-life self—
Itsuki (voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki)
Given his status as a top player with a handsome avatar, he is gaining popularity from a few of the female players in “Gun Gale Online.”
His gameplay style is a rear guard-type that uses a sniper rifle and prefers to fight at middle and long distances. However, traps (land mines) are his go-to, and everything he does is a strategy to use them.
He is the leader of the famous squadron, “Alphard,” and every member of the squadron admires Itsuki almost as they worship him.
He is captivated by the fact that the protagonist obtained an ArFA-sys Type-X and the strong decision-making they occasionally display, and runs into them at every opportunity.
During a conversation, Itsuki, who deems the protagonist as “interesting,” proposes joining their party, but—.
■ Kirito Mode
As you progress through the story, you will unlock “Kirito Mode,” where the playable character changes from the protagonist to Kirito. In Kirito Mode, you can enjoy a story different from the main scenario that depicts a battle with Death Gun. By reaching a certain part of the scenario, you will be able to switch between Kirito Mode and “Regular Scenario Mode” at any time.
In Kirito Mode, Kirito can use the Ultimate Fiber Gun (UFG). Using the UFG, a battle to the death against Death Gun will unfold.
■ Asuna’s Clothes Quests
By giving Asuna materials, she can create new costumes. The list of costumes you can create also consists of special costumes that cannot be purchased at shops. “Costume Recipes” are required to create costumes, which can be obtained through means such as rewards for clearing quests.
■ Area Overview
The “Remnant Wasteland” is an area where enemies lurking ruined buildings and bounty players aim to kill other players from the shadows. It is the first area players will head down to after obtaining an ArFA-sys.
Although it is the game’s opening area, the Remnant Wasteland is not to be taken lightly. Make sure your equipment, skills, and gadgets are properly prepared, and work together with your party members to move forward.
■ Weapons Overview
Handgun
Recommended range: middle distance.
A gun with standard power, range, rapid-fire speed, and so on. It is the first gun the protagonist equips, and the first weapon he / she becomes familiar with.
Sniper Rifle
Recommended range: long distance.
The sniper rifle has extremely long range and high power. Since it can only load a few bullets at a time and cannot fire at rapid speed, it is difficult to demonstrate its true value unless distanced from the enemy.
Sword
Recommended range: short distance.
The sword has a short range, meaning you can only hit the enemy by approaching them. However, by fighting while making skillful use of the UFG, the sword’s close range blow can deal tremendous damage.
