The official website for the television anime of Wakame Konbu's The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! manga revealed the anime's cast, staff, new visual, July 31 premiere date, and two-cours run on Friday.

The cast includes:

• Naomi Ōzora as Jahy
• Ai Kayano as Store Manager
• Yōko Hikasa as Oya
• Kana Hanazawa as Druj
• Mikako Komatsu as Saurva
• Sumire Uesaka as Magical Girl
• Yui Ogura as Kokoro

Ogura is also performing "Fightin★Pose," the opening theme song for the first half of the series, and the song's release will debut on August 11.

Mirai Minato (Masamune-kun's Revenge, Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense.) is directing the anime at SILVER LINK Michiko Yokote (Shirobako, The Magnificent KOTOBUKI, Children of the Whales) is in charge of the series scripts. Saori Nakashiki (Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern Part 1 animation director) is the character designer and chief animation director. Kōji Fujimoto (Sus4 Inc.) and Osamu Sasaki are composing the music.

The anime will premiere on July 31 at 26:00 (effectively, August 1 at 2:00 a.m.) in the "ANiMAZiNG!!!" programming block on ABC TV and TV Ashi's 24-affiliate network. The anime will run for two cours or half a year.

Square Enix Manga & Books will publish the first manga volume in English on July 13 (after a COVID-19 delay), and it describes the story:

The Great Jahy, the Dark Realm's second-in-command, cuts a frightening figure, feared and revered by all. But when a run-in with a magical girl results in the destruction of the precious mana crystal, the Dark Realm falls, transporting the newly tiny and powerless Jahy to the human world! Unfortunately, plotting the revival of the Dark Realm from a cramped, crumbling one-room apartment is no easy feat when you have rent to pay and a job to keep!

The manga has been running in Square Enix's Gangan Joker magazine, and Square Enix published the sixth volume in April 2020.

Hololive Idols Aqua, Subaru, Nene Sing The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! Anime's Ending

Cover Corporation announced on Sunday that three VTubers of its hololive Idol Project — Minato Aqua, Oozora Subaru, and Momosuzu Nene — are forming a new unit called NEGI☆U. The unit's first single is "Tsumari wa Itsumo Kujikenai!" which will be the ending theme song for the television anime of Wakame Konbu's The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! manga. The CD single will go on sale on September 1.

Il momento è giunto, è iniziata la serie della stagione. (per l'ennesima volta)

Vice del demon lord finisce sulla terra, perde quasi tutti i poteri e deve tirare a campare mentre cerca di riacquistare i propri poteri.
Un incrocio tra jashin-chan e demon lord mc donald e... loli nagatoro ma quella infinitamente bullizzata è lei.

Ovviamente slice of life commedia.



Dopo lo smug segue inevitabile la sofferenza.



Ma quanto è puccia.



Chiaramente i personaggi secondari sono tutte tope clamorose, come è giusto che sia.

Gran primo episodio, non moltissime animazioni ma si son concentrati sulle parti giuste.
E' una roba assolutamente adorabile, voci assolutamente perfette (e qui le voci sono tutto), niente di originale ma mi ha fatto ghignare dall'inizio alla fine.

The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! Anime Reveals More Cast, New Ending Theme Artist

The official website for the television anime of Wakame Konbu's The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! manga announced on Wednesday that Miho Okasaki will play Maō (the demon lord) in the show. Okasaki will also perform the ending theme song "Petals" for the show's second cours (quarter of a year).

The site had revealed on August 27 that Sumire Uesaka will perform the show's second opening theme song "Seikatsu Konkyū Dame Dinero."

Lui è gigachad in erba

Lei ci prova a stuzzicarlo ma gli torna indietro tutto x 3 lol

Lei è assolutamente meravigliosa.
Tecnicamente è un po' essenziale ma l'importante sono i chara e le espressioni.

Solidissima romcom commedia.

ho adattato il topic all'autrice, con la speranza che arrivi l'anime di un altro suo titolo che ho appena visto ma in realtà anche qualche manga qui non sarebbe sgradito

visto anche io il primo episodio.

effettivamente non si sono sprecati troppo sul lato tecnico, e qualche gag ripetuta troppo a lungo potrebbe andare a pesare se ripetuta all'infinito (è sospetta!)
però lei è perfetta, e se a quelle espressioni ci aggiungi anche rieri...

ora più che nel primo episodio ho notato la limitatezza delle "animazioni" e del comparto tecnico in generale.
fortuna che è uno slice of life parecchio calmo, ma lilith risulta un po' sprecata così.

comunque mi è capitato di leggere in giro commenti assurdi.
"troppo slice of life". "se non cambia ritmo mollo" ecc... ma non si dovrebbe capire se è un action o no e cosa aspettarsi?
