Come da titolo: dalle pagine di Famitsu arriva l'annuncio di Musou Orochi 2 per PS3 e 360 (serie conosciuta con il nome di Warriors Orochi in Occidente). Release date prevista per dicembre 2011 in JAP. TBA PAL. il titolo occidentale dovrebbe ereditare il 3, visto che il precedente Musō Orochi Maō Sairin, sequel del primo Musou Orochi, aveva preso il 2 de iure in America ed Europa. Scans

The game will feature more than 120 characters, combined from the appearing characters in Dynasty Warriors 7 and Samurai Warriors 3 as well as Orochi exclusive characters. The newly revealed character in the scan above is かぐや Kaguya, the bamboo princess from moon who appeared in a popular Japanese folklore 'Tale of the Bamboo Cutter'.
Musou Orochi 2 will also feature a 'Scenario creation' mode, where players can create their own stages and upload them to the net for other players to download and play.

More new information on Musou Orochi 2 (most likely to be Warriors Orochi 3) has appeared in Famitsu in just a week after its revelation. The next brand-new character to be revealed is 酒呑童子 Shuten-doji, the ruler of the Oni, demons in Japanese folklores.
The storyline takes place in the merged world that took a peaceful life after Orochi's defeat. However some years later, the appearance of a giant Phantom Serpent, Youja, as well as the re-appearance of Taira no Kiyomori who then gathered the phantom army, brought chaos to the world even worse than before. With the help of the moon princess Kaguya, the last remaining generals, Sima Zhao, Ma Chao and Takenaka Hanbei head back to the past to rescue their fallen comrades.

Pang De has also been sighted, which gives the possibility that the rest of DW7XL characters will be also appearing here. Musou Orochi 2 will be released on 22 December 2011 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan. Overseas release is not confirmed yet however is very likely, especially considering the multiplatform with 360.
