Visages villages se la prende comoda, fila liscio fino alla fine e si lascia guardare volentieri senza particolari sobbalzi; Jeannette invece è una scommessa che o bene bene o male male, se non fosse che è talmente strano che alla fine non riesci neppure a decidere come sia andata effettivamente. A film finito la noia dell'ultima parte farebbe propendere per un giudizio più negativo, ma ripensandoci a freddo vengono subito alla mente i bei momenti della prima, e il solleticante piacere dell'aver assistito a qualcosa che, se non altro, è a suo modo unico. Quindi se come me deciderete di ignorare l'ultima parte, aggiungete pure un punto. Cioè due punti, insomma si è capito.

[Brother's Killer]

Un po' di aggiornamenti: dopo 4 revisioni al cinema posso confermare Phantom Thread come uno dei miei film della vita. Una di quelle cose che citerò ai miei figli come esempio di perfezione cinematografica. Davvero troppo su tutti i punti di vista, mio film preferito post 2010 insieme a Kaguya.

Delicatissimo il film di Varda e JJ, la storia di un sodalizio artistico inaspettato e con momenti davvero esilaranti e/o commoventi, un road movie documentaristico davvero particolare.

A Quiet Place è il classico film che non dovrebbe piacermi e invece mi è piaciuto e quindi sono lì, a metà fra il cuore che mi ricorda che è un horror gestisce benissimo la tensione come non sentivo davvero da un po' e con un concept spettacolare, dall'altra cosa ***** ti è venuto in mente di mettere una colonna sonora sovrabbondante in un film così, ma che cavolo di conflitto narrativo sarebbe quello familiare alla base del film, ma come cavolo fai a settare le regole del tuo mondo e poi sminchiarle così tante volte nel film o inventarti device narrativi discutibilissimi, insomma è un 4 del cervello e un 7 del cuore per cui faccio una media verso l'alto e sta sufficienza se la merita tutta.

Delusione Lady Bird e Annientamento, ma ne ho già parlato.

Ready Player One è stata la definizione del cringe, unica cosa che salvo è il modo in cui hanno ricreato QUELLA ambientazione per poi toglierli qualunque aura sacrale il secondo dopo, per cui meh anche lì. Davvero davvero triste.
