Saga Atelier [Arland / Dusk / Mysterious Saga] | Atelier Resleriana - 26 Settembre |

Deidara so che approverà. :asd:

This time around we get more returning characters from Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, including fan favorite Plachta.
She is currently traveling with Sophie, and she appears to have changed a lot from the previous games, taking on a more feminine appearance. She is serious and calm, and supports the protagonists with her far-reaching knowledge of alchemy, while watching over them

Drossel and Fritz Weissberg are also back. Fritz is now 59 years old, and he is the traveling swordsman and puppeteer. He keeps training even at his age, and his skills at both of his arts are still growing. He is the one who created Plachta’s doll body, and when he sees a doll his personality suddenly changes, but he is normally cool and able to make the right decision.

His daughter Drossel is now 30 years old, and she works as a playwright and puppeteer. She loves her father and her puppets, and her objective is to create the best puppet show. After making a fine debut, she is also progressing in her career as a playwright.

Two new characters are also introduced: Rusha Voltaire is Lydie and Suelle’s rival and childhood friend, and the only heir of the famous Atelier Voltaire.

She is beautiful and polite, always talking to people in a formal way, so she is considered quite highly among her peers. Yet, she has a bit of a dark side, and she is very ambitious. That being said, her pride is mostly a result of being lonely, and while she can act high and mighty, that’s mostly a facade hiding a warmer personality.

Alto is also a skilled alchemist working in an atelier in Melville, boasting the highest knowledge of the subject among the local alchemists. He is cold and cynical, and is always surrounded by a cold atmosphere. He looks down on alchemists who do things half-heartedly, and his identity is a bit of a mystery.

The game features an atelier ranking system, and the protagonists will have to struggle in order to aim for the top in the country. After they finish their ranking exam, they’re tasked by the government to investigate the magical pictures escorted by Matthias, and they also find Rusha there, who apparently was given the same mission.

Some of the paintings are worn and damaged, and the two twins will have to count on everyone’s powers to create the items necessary to repair them, activating their magical properties.

We also see more of the “activation item” that is a new mechanic in the alchemy system. When used, it allows the player to change the color of some of the tiles in the alchemy puzzle. This allows to create items with different properties and effects.

Another side of the game’s alchemy is the “battle mix” feature, that lets us use collected ingredients and blend them during battle to instantly generate a variety of effects. It can be used when the front line of the party fulfills the required conditions. A bonus named “extra mix” can also be activated, adding an additional effect to the created item.

This allows to come up with powerful items like “Big Bang Flame” or “Mega Bomb” that cannot be created with ordinary alchemy.

Last but not least, we get to see a couple of environments, in the form of the Palace of Frozen Time, which can be found inside a painting, and an old church overlooking the sea in the real world. Apparently Lydie and Suelle occasionally go there.

Alto inguardabile, Rusha mi piace parecchio. Mi ruga che lui è giocabile e lei no. Molto. :bah!:

Ormai sta saga è andata come è andata, speriamo che per prossimo giro l'hanno capita che devono riportare kishida...

Height: 147cm

Occupation: Alchemist

The only daughter of “Atelier Voltaire,” the most well-known atelier in Melveille, the imperial capital. As Lydie and Suelle’s childhood friend, she has a rival-like relationship with the twins. In addition to her graceful appearance, she puts on the act of being nice and addresses everyone respectfully, and is thus considered to be a flower beyond anyone’s reach. However, she is actually black-hearted and ambitious.

—While Lusia is high-handed and prideful, she easily feels lonely. If she is not shown any attention, she will sulk. She also considers herself quite the tactician, but since that is quickly exposed as a lie, those around her watch over her with care.

Alto

Voiced by: Takuma Nagatsuka

Illustrated by: Yuugen

Age: ??

Height: 160cm

Occupation: Alchemist

A boy with an androgynous appearance who runs a secret atelier in Melveille. He has extremely high alchemy abilities, and boasts of top class ability among Melveille’s emerging atelier district. He has a cool and sarcastic personality. There is also a cold atmosphere about him as if to push others away.

—Alto, whose alchemy abilities are of a high level, tends to look down on alchemists who show off their half-baked abilities. But you may see another side to him as he opens his heart. While it seems he will become a member of the party, what are his true colors?

Plachta

Voiced by: Yuka Iguchi

Illustrated by: Yuugen

Age: ??

Height: ??cm

Occupation: Alchemist

An alchemist journeying with the traveling alchemist Sophie. As Sophie’s alchemy master, she considers her to be both a close friend and family. She has a serious and calm personality, but can also be somewhat careless. With her wealth of knowledge in the field of alchemy, she will support and watch over Lydie and company.

—Plachta has a different, more womanly appearance now compared to when she first met Sophie. What could be the reason for such a drastic change in the way she looks?

Fritz Weissberg

Voiced by: Kenyuu Horiuchi

Age: 59

Height: 171cm

Occupation: Swordsman / Doll Maker

A traveling doll maker and swordsman, as well as Drossel’s father. While traveling together, Fritz and Drossel make a stop in Melveille. Even at his old age, he continues to study, and continues to develop both his skills as a doll maker and as a swordsman. While his personality completely changes whenever he sees a doll, he is usually an intellectual character who always makes calm judgments.

—Fritz has extraordinary enthuasiasm when it comes to dolls. He also has considerable interest in “Mysterious Paintings,” which are in the same field of art. However, since nowadays he keeps a watchful eye over his daughter, who often gets lost, his stomach tends to hurt.

Drossel Weissberg

Voiced by: Ari Ozawa

Illustrated by: Yuugen

Age: 30

Height: 165cm

Occupation: Playwright / Doll Maker

A traveling playwright. She has an extremely naive and cheerfully noisy personality. She is traveling with her father Fritz, and has a dream of one day putting on the best puppet show ever. Her love for dolls is of equal match to her father. She has favorable career prospects as a playwright, and is also making her debut as a shrewd novelist.

—As a bookworm, Drossel tends to surprise others with her knowledge. With her father’s recent stomach pains, she is seemingly becoming aware of the trouble she is putting him through.

■ The Story of Lydie and Suelle, Travelers of Mysterious Paintings

Fascinated by the mysterious paintings in their basement, Lydie and Suelle are drawn into the paintings’ worlds. With never before scene landscapes and valuable materials spread out before them, the twins could not contain their curiosity. The twins’ story begins when they encounter their first mysterious painting.

—By synthesizing the materials obtained in mysterious paintings, the twins can create items never before created. But even when the twins bring up talk of the mysterious paintings to their father Roger, he does not take them seriously.

—In the basement is a painting with a warm atmosphere. Why is it that the twins are able to jump into the world of this painting?

The Goal: Become “The Best Atelier in the Country

The “Atelier Rank System” is a new system that has been established in the country. In order to reach the highest rank in this system, the twins will spend each day working hard synthesizing and adventuring. Along the way, after the twins have grown a bit, they will be asked by the kingdom to investigate the mysterious paintings.

—The twins listen to the receptionist explain the rank-up test in detail at the royal castle. The test seems simple at first glance, but…

—Thinking that it will be difficult to pass the test through self-study, the twins hope to become the apprentices of the “Super Top Class Alchemist” Ilmeria. Will that guarantee success?

—After finishing the rank-up test, the twins are asked to investigate the mysterious paintings. After going into the world of a new painting with their escort Matthias, they join up with Lusia, who arrived before them. It appears that the country has been requesting talented alchemists to investigate.

Investigate Mysterious Paintings

There is not just one mysterious painting in Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paitings. Also, it is necessary to repair a painting in order to enter its world, and creating the special item required to do that is not straight forward. Borrowing the powers of everyone helping them, Lydie and Suelle will synthesize the items necessary to repair the paintings.

—When a painting gets old, it loses its power as a mysterious painting, and a mysterious painting tool called “The Paints of Neige” is required to repair it. In order to synthesize this, the twins will seek out the help of Firis.

■ Create Items with Particular Effects through Activation Item Synthesis

The synthesis system applies materials through simple, puzzle-like operation. Here, we will introduce the newly added “Activation Item Synthesis” of this game.

Use Activation Items to Create New Effects

Activation Items are special items that can be added to a synthesis whenever you like, but only once per synthesis. The effects of Activation Items differ depending on the item. For example, one effect changes the colors of colored squares that already have materials placed in them each to different colors. Another effect changes the same colored squares next to the selected square all to the same color.

—Here, we see the attack item “Ori Flam” being created without the use of an Activation Item. By checking the effects indicated on the right side of the screen, you can see that it will have effects such as “Fire Damage – Strong.”

—By skillfully placing an Activation Item into the panel, new effects will appear. There may even be a character cut-in when creating a seemingly good item. By using the same materials and following the same process to create the aforementioned Ori Flam, but adding in an Activation Item, the new effect “Defense Power Down – Average” appears.

—By using Activation Items, you can create items all your own with more convenient and particular effects.

■ Synthesize Powerful Combat Items in Battle

Two of the new elements in this game are “Battle Mix” and “Extra Mix,” which allow protagonists Lydie and Suelle to synthesize items during battle.

Battle Mix

With Battle Mix, you can create items with various effects to use immediately in battle using the items you have gathered as ingredients. A Battle Mix can be activated when the character in the front of a two-person team meets certain requirements. When doing so, a “Battle Recipe” will appear on the screen, allowing you to select the necessary materials.

—In order to use Battle Mix, mysterious items called “Archeus Anima” are required. These items can only be obtained in the worlds of mysterious paintings.

—When Lydie or Suelle are in the rear of their two-person team, they can activate a Battle Mix when the character in the front meets certain requirements. Those requirements differ for Lydie and Suelle.

Extra Mix

An Extra Mix is a synthesis that uses a battle-use item originally synthesized through a Battle Mix to create an even stronger battle-use item. After choosing the item you want to synthesize in the Battle Recipe screen, you can add more Archeus Anima than specified to possibly give the resulting item an even stronger effect.

—In Extra Mix, after taking over the effect of the item used as a material, an Extra Mix-exclusive “Ex Effect” is added. Use this to create super powerful items you could not create in normal synthesis, like a Big Bang Flam with a Mega Bomb as an Ex Effect.

—It is no dream that you can use Extra Mix to synthesize super powerful items that can turn the tides of battle. The effects vary from item to item, so use Extra Mix to make super powerful items all your own.

■ The Worlds of Mysterious Paintings and the Real World

Lydie and Suelle’s story will be told as they travel between two truly different worlds. While meeting new people and experiencing events they could never imagine, the twins will inch ever closer toward their dream.

Mysterious Painting World: “Frozen Time Palace”

Towering over a forest of frost-covered trees is a palace where everything is frozen. What awaits in this palace where the beds, walls, and even time are frozen?

Real World: The Hill Overlooking the Sea

A hill overvlooking both Melveille and the sea. A church called Venue Church with a graveyard behind it was built on top of the hill. It seems that Lydie and Suelle will visit this place.

Strengthening Your Bonds

As you encounter people in Melveille, certain characters will trigger events. Through these character events, you will be able to see different sides of these characters than you normal, and touch upon important feelings and thoughts. Be sure to actively go around the capital to visit your friends.

Suelle quando raccoglie materiali da una roccia le da pestoni ripetutamente. Squilibrata.
