Eh riconosco che è caso particolare il mio, ho come una sensazione strana che mi dà quasi fastidio. Ci sono andato una volta sola da solo anni fa per un altro film (caso particolare) ed ancora mi ricordo l'imbarazzo

Mo vediamo tra un paio di settimane, quando sono più libero e se c'è ancora al cinema come si ipotizzava; se riesco a fare un salto qui dove lavoro dove ho il cinema a 10 minuti di autobus invece che dove sto di solito (dove il cinema è ad 1 ora di macchina) magari potrei fare il tentativo Oramai sono troppo incuriosito

No, sono in Germania, è una catena tedesca (Cineplex, se vi interessa).
Già prima il cinema costava un po' di più che in Italia, poi in tre anni con covid e guerra i prezzi sono aumentati molto, ma così tanto come per Avatar non avevo mai pagato.

- The state of the future movies is as such:
Avatar 3 - the capture and photography (and editing) is finished, it's in post-production.
Avatar 4 - completely written, completely designed, part of it is shot.
Avatar 5 - "completely written, and it's completely designed".
They can release each movie in a span of 2-3 years.

- The next movies will take the audience to "places that are hard to describe and for sure they are very hard to do". "These places will have amazing imagery".

- The future movies "will not be about handing off the baton to the young people".
It's about seeing the entire family going forward through all of the crisis, through the war with the RDA and the humans that are trying to crush out the navis and colonize the planet.

- Cameron seems to imply we'll gonna have an all-out war with the RDA, not just some little local incident.

- "All the characters are set in motion by this movie (A2) and it continues right through 3, through 4 and through 5". There are a lot of changes to the characters.
They're gonna show a lot of the challenges that the characters face, and how they have to work together.
All the main characters will get more complex, and that their lives will develop overtime.

- "Kiri becomes a very important character going forward".

- "Spider becomes a very important character as well, because he is kind of the pivot point in between Quaritch and Jake".

- "We can't have Quaritch and Jake constantly just fighting as we go along". Their relationship will get much more complicated.

- Next movies will focus on how the villain (Quaritch) evolves, plus we will bring in additional adversaries and allies as we go along".

- The story is very dramatic as it goes forward.

- "Avatar 2 is just a tease to restart", and that the story will really take off in the next movies.

Settimana fiacca (tranne martedì) in USA al Box Office, sempre davanti a NWH e gli ultimi Star Wars ma dietro Top Gun (Che comunque era uscito in Estate, con le vacanze), vediamo il Weekend come va. Se fa più di 30 milioni può arrivare ai 700 domestici, al di sotto si fermerà a 650 670.

Bene o male nessuna sorpresa, finite le feste la durata di 190 minuti e passa durante i giorni della settimana fuori dal weekend peserà come un macigno.
Già è buono che nonostante questo stia comunque facendo ancora più di SW e NWH.
Tra l'altro questa settimane in america sono pure riprese le partite di football e ce ne stanno un bordello al giorno.
Lato Domestic il range che molti si aspettavano era li intorno e ci sta. Io direi 650 massimo, in america fa comunque ben più fatica che in europa.

Come previsto Kiri e Spider saranno dei personaggi molto importanti nei prossimi film, ottimo. Comunque Cameron ci va giù pesante, il primo film è il tutorial e il 2 è il prologo, la ciccia vera arriva solo adesso a quanto pare.

Se davvero ci mette circa 2/3 anni a film riesce sicuramente a farcela prima degli 80.

Il calendario al momento è:
A3: December 20, 2024
A4: December 18, 2026
A5: December 22, 2028

Ma state certi al 99% che tra il 3 e 4 si aggiungerà minimo 1 altro anno e di conseguenza anche col 5 (usciranno comunque sempre in quella settimana di dicembre).
Alla fine per quando sarà uscito l'ultimo mi aspetto che ci sarà stato un ritardo totale di almeno 1-2 anni rispetto ai piani attuali.
