E' una nuova interazione di Batman, ambientato negli anni 40, quindi hanno voluto ambientarlo nello stesso periodo delle prime storie di Batman vere e proprie del fumetto alle sue prime apparizioni del personaggio. In salsa molto pulp. Con anche varie diversificazioni nei villain nella loro caratterizzazione classica, che fondamentalmente è solo fare il contrario di come sono a volte. Ad esempio Harley che da Dr. Quinzell è un attimo svitata e che da Quinn invece è molto seria nella sua caratterizzazione.
