April was another strong month for Nintendo as far as Switch hardware sales in the United States are concerned. The system was again the best-selling platform in terms of both unit and dollar sales. We also heard that year-to-date dollar sales of Switch are the highest of any hardware platform ever.

It’s rare that we receive concrete sales data from the NPD, but we do actually have a few numbers this time around. According to Wedbush Securities media analyst Michael Pachter, Switch sold 808,000 units, which is more than his 400,000 estimate.

Pachter said in a note:


“The Switch’s status as a must-have item among many stay-at-home consumers drove a terrific April figure that would have been meaningfully higher if not for widespread sellouts throughout the month. The Switch led industry unit sales for the 17th consecutive month.”



Pachter also revealed that the PlayStation 4 sold 411,000 units while the Xbox One moved 329,000 units, which also exceeded his predictions. Switch did end up selling more than those two consoles combined, though some consideration needs to be given to the fact that they’ve been around longer and Sony and Microsoft have new hardware platforms on the horizon.

The Last of Us: Part II sales dropped 80% compared to last week. To compare, Uncharted 4 sales dropped 78% in its second week. The first two weeks of sales combined, The Last of Us: Part II is tracking behind Uncharted 4, but less than 1%.

Bravely Second: End Layer sold three times as many units as in its launch week, due to a clearance at Argos. It doubled its life-to-date sales.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated debuts at No.3.

The Last of Us Remastered sales increased 82% compared to last week.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons sales increased 74% compared to last week.

Assetto Corsa Competizione debuts at No.12.

Azz in effetti vedo che da ieri c'é la standard a 2.49 e Limited a 3.99, ancora disponibile, ma non spediscono in Italia :facepalm:  E giusto per mettere il coltello nella piaga: DQ7 1.49, Hey Pikmin 1.49, Yokai 1.99, FE Echoes/Conquest/Warriors 3.99, Superstar saga 3.99.

Non ricordo quanto vendevano i vecchi Ace Combat, mi sembra un buon rilancio per la serie da parte di Bandai Namco.

Un ottimo risultato per un genere ormai divenuto di nicchia, la qualità paga sempre e Ace Combat 7 è un gran bel gioco, con un ottimo supporto

Non ricordo neppure io le vendite della serie, ma direi un ottimo risultato specie considerando che è uscito un anno e mezzo fa, quindi destinato a vendere ancora 

 
La serie al 2018 era a 14 milioni, quindi ora sta a 16.

Sulle rispettive wiki qualcosa c'è, gli Ace Combat della PS1 vendevano circa 1/1,2 milioni, il 4 su PS2 è salito a 2,6, cifra simile per il 5.

Il calo probabilmente c'è stato con Zero e soprattutto con il 6, da lì il cambio di rotta di Assault Horizon che però ha peggiorato la situazione (1,07). 

Adesso comunque direi che i fan possono stare tranquilli.

Mi tenta, però i 30 fps non mi vanno molto a genio :hmm: almeno su PS4 pro secondo me potevano farlo girare a 60 fps :sisi: non avendone mai giocato uno non vorrei rischiare più di 20 euro nuovo :unsisi:

Switch dovrebbe aver toccato quota 60 milioni con un Q1 assurdo da 4,5 milioni circa
