The Famicom version of Contra made use of a custom-made mapper chip (the VRC II) that allowed for the addition of cut-scenes and a map display between stages, as well as animated backgrounds (such as moving palm trees in Stage 1 or falling snowflakes in Stage 5). The NES version, which was released on a standard UNROM mapper (since Nintendo produced all the NES cartridges released in America), lacked all these graphical effects.

In a 1994 interview with the game's creator Shigeru Miyamoto, featured in the liner notes of "The Legend of Zelda: Sound and Drama" CD, he was asked what were the things he struggled with during the game's development. He responded: "We were brimming with new ideas on how to fully utilize the Disk System’s new capabilities: a name entry system, using better music, recording the player’s progress, and so forth. In that sense it was a very fun game to create. The flip side of doing something new, however, is that Zelda was a game where we were very concerned whether players would understand what they were supposed to do (much like the fear Nakamura had when Dragon Quest was first released). Once we decided there’d be riddles and puzzles in Zelda, that carried a lot of anxiety with it as well. Some of the puzzles are quite difficult to solve, after all." "Since we were working on Super Mario at the same time, once Mario was finished, we grabbed the Mario programmers and used them for Zelda in a final programming sprint. That was really tough."

The game did fairly well in the review circuit (78 out of 100 "generally favorable reviews" on Metacritic), but it's one of the lowest-selling Fire Emblem titles ever, even setting aside the small print run. Nintendo releasing it in North America a week before Super Mario Galaxy also didn't help matters. Radiant Dawn is the game that first put Fire Emblem on the cancellation brink that Awakening would reverse five years later.

Despite having a lower Metascore than the third game, Suikoden V was the better received title since II by fans. However, the game sold only 194,780 units in Japan during its debut year, much less than Suikoden IV (which sold 303,069 copies) and was the last mainline Suikoden.

Due to the impending end of the Sega Genesis, Alien Soldier was released in an unfinished state after two years in development. Among various plans that failed to see completion were more bosses, a longer and more detailed storyline, and an additional two transformations for Seven Force (with unused voice clips naming them "Nemesis Force" and "Harpy Force"). Several Treasure developers had shared their thoughts on the matter in a 1995 interview

During Catalina's campaign before the final boss fight, there are two different scenarios that occur if you decide to attack either João or one of the ships in Ezequiel's fleet first (implying that she thinks they are still her enemy) that make the game unwinnable. Upon attacking and defeating Ezequiel's fleet first, the ships following you will stop and instead travel around the overworld in random directions until they eventually disappear from the map. Despite this, João's ship will still follow behind her, and defeating him will cause his ship to disappear entirely. If you attack and defeat João first, his ship will disappear and cause the rest of Ezequiel's fleet to scatter. In a fourth wall break, Catalina will point out upon attacking João that she chose to do this just to see what would happen, before he encourages her to reset the game so they can see the ending.

Despite Jean Reno providing Jacques' likeness and French voice, Paul Mercier (who would go on to voice Leon Kennedy a few months later) serves as Jacques' English VA.
 
Per quanto al buon ninja di sezione NON piacciano, la serie Pokemon è una miniera di facts, curiosità e chi più ne ha più ne metta.
Oggi però visto il compleanno dei primissimi titoli della serie, voglio proporre qualcosa di particolare :pokidance:
