Da un'intervista di Famitsu:

How does it differ from the Xbox One version?

SWERY: We'd had a jam (Game Jam) that was done in time for GDC, "Empathy and Sense can be reproduced without a Kinect", for which we created an experimental PC version as proof. The intention was for the game's design to use only a mouse. Many users said "I want to play D4, but I don't have an Xbox One." When we'd practically announced it at GDC, there'd been quite a bit of buzz on social networks saying, "If there's a PC version, please release it by any means."

Is it safe to say it's currently in production?

SWERY: The staff is going through the trouble day and night to insert every element in April. I'd like to be bug checking by May.

Will there be any difference in the game's contents?

SWERY: Season 1 (I assume he means the plot/story content) will not have any changes. The arrangement of some items has changed, and has been tuned a bit to be easier to play. On Xbox One, these items came in the form of DLC, as items that can be taken as a reward in-game. These have been changed to become rewards of side quests.

Why changing from DLC to available through play?

SWERY: Since the game's already been on the market longer than half a year, there's no need for them to be separately downloaded. You can simply enjoy them within the game.

A pleasant change. So, how will the changes for Sense operate? With mouse replacing the Kinect, do you think the game is still fun to play?

SWERY: While porting to using the mouse, that part improved very much. But there was a part that was missing. The voice control offered by Kinect is no longer available. Though gestures with body poses cannot be done, playing with a mouse is an improvement.

Altre notizie sul porting da PC Gamer:

Access Games has released details about the PC version of D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die, saying that Kinect functionality, including voice control, has been completely removed. All interactions with the game will be mouse controlled instead, and new commands have been added "to do daily life activities like drinking tequila and opening fortune cookies." And who honestly doesn't consider both of those everyday staples? The PC version of the game will include all content previously released as DLC for the Xbox One edition, and a new section of Amanda's Shop called "Today's Free Outfit" has been added. On the technical side, it will offer a number of PC-specific graphics settings including adjustable resolution, windowed and full-screen modes, selectable V-sync, dynamic shadows, and multiple subtitle languages.

Load times have been shortened, and bugs have been fixed; Xbox One-specific MELD compatibility and leaderboards have been dropped, but on the upside, it will support Steam achievements, trading cards, badges, emoticons, profile backgrounds, and cloud saving. It will also run at 60 fps, if you have the recommended hardware

D4 will release for PC in early June

You won't have to wait long to play Swery's bonkers follow-up to Deadly Premonition: according to a recent Famitsu interview, D4 will release on Steam, Humble Store and GOG on June 5 with a $14.99 price tag.

That's sooner than I expected, and all evidence suggests that more care has gone into this port than into the notoriously unstable Deadly Premonition conversion. Previously an Xbox One exclusive – and once a showcase for Microsoft's flailing Kinect peripheral – the PC version comes with a bunch of perks including all previously released DLC and flexible graphics options. Check out the D4 system requirements to make sure you're ready.

D4 includes the first two parts of the episodic game, but there's still no word on when to expect the third.

Prezzo onesto.

EDIT: Il gioco è ancora fermo all'episodio 1, vero?
