Bethesda's Pete Hines has claimed that Doom 4 will "show the world id's true potential" when it finally hits shelves.

Very little is known about the FPS sequel currently. CVG revealed last year that fantasy author Graham Joyce is penning the story of the title - but no release date or screens have been released by Bethesda.

More details of the game are expected to be revealed at QuakeCon in August.

"id Software brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the first person shooter genre," Bethesda marketing boss Hines told industry magazine MCV this week.

"To have a group like id working as an internal studio for Bethesda is a tremendous advantage.

"I think what they're working on with RAGE and Doom 4 is going to show the world their true potential."

CVG reported earlier this week that RAGE would be released next year, as id strives to polish it to perfection.

io ho doom 3 per PC ed è il gioco horror per PC più bello mai giocato

se esce il 4 su ps3 corro nudo fino al gamestop

John Carmack, considerato da più parti come il programmatore di videogiochi più in gamba al mondo, in una intervista alla rivista ufficiale PlayStation britannica ha fatto il punto della situazione in seno allo sviluppo di Doom 4, atteso nuovo capitolo della storica saga di sparatutto. Il tecnico di id Software ha rivelato che i lavori procedono spediti e il progetto è già in cantiere. Mentre Rage, altro titolo in lavorazione negli studi, si sta facendo attendere più di quanto pianificato, Carmack afferma che per il nuovo Doom non sarà così e verrà commercializzato prima di quanto ci possiamo aspettare. Le prime informazioni sul gioco sono attese già entro la fine dell’anno.

ne dubito, dice che doom sta andando velocemente mentre rage più lentamente ma questo non vuol dire che doom esca prima di rage, per di più doom dovrà avere il triplo del livello di dettaglio di rage(basti pensare che da uncharted 1 al 2 il livello di dettaglio è stato raddoppiato e guardate che mostro ne è uscito, figuratevi triplicare rage), o almeno questo si dice in rete.

 
No, nel senso che in relazione al tempo perso da Rage, Doom 4 ne impiegherà meno per arrivare nei negozi.

pardon il sonno mi consuma :morristend: beh comunque sia non mi sarei comunque entusiasmato visto che il gameplay di certo non lo facevano vedere e se è per vedere tante immagini confuse di 30 secondi lasciavo stare
