Un po' di informazioni sulla versione occidentale di Dragon Quest VII per 3DS, di prossima uscita.

ccording to Nintendo, Dragon Quest VII is “basically a brand new game.” All the writing is new, and no more random encounters, as you’ll see the enemies on the map. That said, we’ll probably get a different feel out of the game compared to what we got with Dragon Warrior VII back in 2001 on the PlayStation.
Additionally, Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past will also have a story summary feature and StreetPass feature that lets you gain tablets. The presenter also mentioned that Dragon Quest VIII is releasing sometime this year, and that it’ll have a top-notch localization.

In Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3, it’s possible to change the appearance of the protagonist. ‘Changing your appearance’ is a special skill you’ll learn on your adventure, allowing you to change your look from what you decided at the beginning of the story. Consider your own color coordination and become a “Fashion Master.”

You can change the color of your hair, scarf, pants, gloves, and boots. You can choose from 12 colors for each section. These colors are also reflected in story scenes, as well as in the menu screen character artwork.

■ Customize Your Monsters

Sure you can change the appearance of the protagonist, but you can also change the appearance of your monsters through a new “paint synthesis” element. This uses the game’s synthesis system to change the color of monsters. Through this, you can change the color of a monster’s body and its clothing without changing its stats and skills.

Monsters known as “Color Fondue” are the key to paint synthesis. Color Fondue monster White will tell you about his brothers who were captured by mysterious monsters.

Dato che Dragon Quest Builders è l'unico titolo "da sezione" nella top20 delle vendite di Media Create, posto qui.

Builders ha fatto nella prima settimana circa 374,000 copie. La versione PSV è quella che ha venduto di più, anche di un certo margine rispetto alla versione PS4. PS3 arranca ma non schioppa. Sia PS4 che soprattutto PSV hanno anche avuto un bel boost di vendite rispetto alla settimana precedente.

Local MultiplayerThrough Local Multiplayer, you can have battles and trade monsters with nearby rivals. Local battles consists of “1-on-1 Battles” and eight team maximum “Grand Prix Battles.”

Local Battles

Battle against rivals and compete for the title of ultimate monster master. Deciding which monster to ride in “Team Organization” is also important.

“Judge Points” are displayed at the bottom of the screen and are the key to victory. By attacking, using special skills and effects, and defeating your opponent’s monsters, your Judge Points will increase.

Trading Monsters

Through Local Multiplayer, you can also trade monsters with other players. You can even give a monster to a friend without receiving one in return.

StreetPass Battles

Through StreetPass Battles, you can fight other players’ teams that you pass in the streets. Similar to Local Multiplayer, not only can you test your skills and collect Communication Coins, you can scout rival teams’ monsters throughout the whole town.

You can set a team of monsters to be passed along via StreetPass from the menu.

When you’re set to ride a monster in battle, your character will appear riding that monster. Your customizations and such will be reflected.

You can scout a single monster up to Rank A in battle. When you come across a monster on a rival team that you want, attack it boldly.

SpotPass

In addition to Local Multiplayer and StreetPass Battles, and the previously introduced Wi-Fi Multiplayer, there is also a SpotPass element. If you have SpotPass set, you can receive valuable items, treasure chests, and various other good things.

Sometimes a Stealth Box will appear in the Internet Multiplayer Plaza. What could be inside?

Special battles with special teams including rare monsters may also be triggered.

Great Riders Cup

The Great Riders Cup is another local play element. More details will be announced at a later date.
