https://gamerant.com/far-cry-6-leak-release-date-when/Ubisoft recently confirmed that it has five triple-A games that will launch between April 2020 and March 2021. Ubisoft confirmed that three of the games are Watch Dogs Legion, Gods and Monsters, and Rainbow Six Quarantine, but stopped short of confirming the other two games beyond stating that they were a part of its "biggest franchises." While Ubisoft didn't spill the beans on these games, it seems that they are the long-rumored new Assassin's Creed game as well as Far Cry 6.
This report comes from Jason Schreier of Kotaku. Schreier is known to be one of the most reliable sources in the video game industry, so his claim holds a lot more weight than most. Schreier didn't elaborate on the new Far Cry, but just said that it's one of the games Ubisoft plans to launch between now and March 2021.
If Schreier is accurate, then this means that fans can likely look forward to Far Cry 6 being announced at E3 2020 during Ubisoft's press conference. It also means that the new Assassin's Creed game will likely be unveiled by then as well, though that's been expected for quite some time.
Anyone holding out hope for Splinter Cell is, once again, going to be disappointed. Sorry! (It’s AC and Far Cry.) https://t.co/7hKDV3y5QS
