comunque certe volte sono più belle le trasposizioni cinofile "non-ufficiali" di alcuni videogiochi... ovvero quei film che prendono solamente a spunto l'idea alla base di un videogioco pur non avendo la licenza nell'affibiargli il nome corrispondente al gioco nel titolo del film.. provate a vedere crank oppure shoot'em up.. ispirati rispettivamente uno a gta e l'altro a max payne..//content.invisioncic.com/a283374/emoticons/250978_ahsisi.gif

 
Film di Need for Speed in uscita nel 2014:

A movie based on the Need for Speed franchise will release in 2014, EA and DreamWorks have announced.DreamWorks has fast-tracked the project for a 2014 release with a production start date of early next year. The story, developed by brothers George (She's Out of My League) and John Gatins (Dreamer, Real Steel, Flight), is based on the racing game series but not on an individual game. EA will produce the film alongside John Gatins and Mark Sourian. Scott Waugh, of Act of Valor fame, will direct.

EA said the movie will be a "fast-paced, high-octane film rooted in the tradition of the great car culture films of the 70s while being extremely faithful to the spirit of the video game franchise".

"In Need for Speed," EA continued, "the cars are hot, the racing is intense and the story keeps players at the edge of their seat."

EA Labels boss Frank Gibeau said he was "thrilled" to be working with DreamWorks chairman Steven Spielberg. "They are the perfect partner to take Need for Speed to the big screen by creating the exciting action film that we have always envisioned," he said.

EA executive Patrick Soderlund, himself an accomplished driver, had this to say: "It's fantastic to be working with a team that shares not only our love of cars, but also our passion for creating blockbuster action experiences. This collaboration will be greatly enhanced with the team at DreamWorks - which is a great home for the Need for Speed franchise."

Spielberg said: "I'm excited about getting back into the creative trenches with John and George Gatins and my partners at EA to bring to life an exhilarating script based on an epic video game that seems to have been made for the movies.

"This is a big piece of business for DreamWorks and we are grateful to Frank Gibeau, Pat O'Brien, Kevin Maher and John and George for choosing us to deliver their goods."

Io PRETENDO di vede quanto prima "Ace Attorney" di quel genio di Miike.

Per quanto riguarda i film sui videogiochi,devo dire di non averne visti poi molti, e nessuno di loro mi ha soddisfatto. Il film su Silent Hill,per quanto abbia nei contro alcuni cambiamenti alla trama originale discutibili (Harry che diventa Rose :o Dahlia buona :0) ha il pregio di aver reso piuttosto bene alcune ambientazioni della saga originale.

 
Vediamo quanti film tratti da VG mi ricordo:

i vari tomb raider, i vari resident evil, i vari mortal kombat, street fighter, dead or alive, tekken, silent hill, hitman, double dragon, super mario bros, wing commander, alone in the dark, house of the dead, far cry, prince of persia, final fantasy, doom, e poi non mi ricordo..

Ma per niente dai, Shoot 'em Up soprattutto è un film d'azione ignorantissimo, cosa avrebbe in comune con Max Payne (che il suo film immondo ce l'ha già poi:asd:)?

There is to be a Deus Ex movie based on the recent Human Revolution reboot of the series.CBS Films has secured the rights to adapt it, according to Variety, and will work closely with Eidos Montreal on the adaptation.

"As the millions of fans who have played the Deus Ex games for more than a decade will tell you, these games catapult you into a universe that is stimulating, engaging and relevant," Square Enix Europe president and CEO Phil Rogers commented.

"We're firm believers in building strong partnerships, and so we're thrilled to be working with CBS Films on bringing the unique Deus Ex experience to the big-screen."

Roy Lee, executive producer of The Departed, and Adrian Askarieh - a film producer who's landed other Eidos/Square Enix film rights - are linked to the movie as producers.

CBS Films bods John P. Middleton (not sure who he is), Maria Faillace and Alex Gino will oversee the project.

Question is, who will play the game's hero, Adam Jensen?

Guarda se per human revolution il mio terrore era "prendiamo delle tematiche con potenzialità enormi e usiamole per fare una tamarrata straganza" per il film sarebbe certezza assoluta
