Passaggio al sistema di patching su PS4 a partire dal 28 agosto, update diretto e in rest mode senza prima loggarsi e dimezzamento dello spazio occupato su hdd :

Currently, on the PlayStation®4 (hereafter “PS4®”) version of FINAL FANTASY XIV (hereafter “FFXIV”), download and installation of the update file occurs after account login. However, for further improvement to long-term stability, in conjunction and cooperation with Sony Interactive Entertainment, on Sep. 4, 2018 we will be migrating our update service to the PS4® patch system. Please read on for details
・The PS4® patch system makes automatic download of update files possible without the need for starting up client applications or login verifications. This will allow for much smoother gameplay when future FFXIV version updates occur..

・Currently for client application updates, the PS4® version of FFXIV uses separate data regions per game title that is on the PS4®, so in the case a data region becomes partially corrupted for some reason, it is necessary to re-download the update files in their entirety to maintain data integrity. Migrating to the PS4® patch system will alleviate this issue.

・With this streamlining of data regions, a reduction in required HDD storage space is expected for the current PS4® version of FFXIV. (What is 67.25 GB as of Aug. 2018 is expected to be reduced to about 34 GB.)

Players of the PS4® version of FFXIV will need to re-download all update files, as they have been made compatible for the PS4® patch system. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Before migration begins, on Aug. 28, 2018, we will begin releasing the update files that have been made compatible for the PS4® patch system. We ask that you please follow the guide below to download the update files prior to when the actual migration begins.

As a note, gameplay will still be possible during the pre-migration download of the update files.

Vi conviene cambiare server. Il grosso degli italiani sta su server Ragnarok e a breve Phoenix verrà trasferito su un data center differente, quindi non avrete nemmeno più la possibilità di utilizzare tutte le funzionalità cross-world con gli altri italiani:

We're adding a new Data Center to both the North American and European Data Center. With this addition we'll be splitting the Worlds, so we ask players in the North American and European Data Centers to pay close attention. We understand that splitting the Worlds will separate the community from those that have formed together, and those that utilize the Cross-world Linkshell and Party Finder features. However, please note that in order to maintain the stability of our servers as we anticipate more players in the future, we had to make this decision.

As for the separation of the Worlds, we have observed the communities in each of the Worlds for the North American region, and we looked at what languages are used most in those European Data Center Worlds and tried our best to put them together in the same Data Centers.

Additionally, we're planning to add one new World per Data Center for the European region. Once the new Data Centers are added, players that are within the North American and European Data Centers will be able to utilize a free World Transfer and we'll be temporarily removing the limit on how much gil can be transferred.

I, o meglio, LE Viera come razza giocabile erano state già semi-confermate per Shadow alla fan fest americana. Tra l'altro è un po' lo stesso espediente utilizzato con gli Au Ra quando rivelarono il  volto di Yugiri nella 2.5

Tra le altre cose annunciati anche buff ai Job Monk, Machinist e White Mage, in preparazione di forti modifiche nella 5.0

Al 99,9% è tra giugno e settembre, come le altre 2. Difficilissimo che esca prima dell'estate.

Comprata l'edizione comprensiva di tutte le espansioni sino ad ora. Prima volta in cui mi immergo in un mmorpg e sto livellando dove ci sono marmotte, vespe e ranocchi. Il modo più veloce e safe per expare a lv 50? Vorrei cambiare/evolvere la classe in quella del samurai. Però ora che hanno mostrato il mago blu mi interessa anche quella

All'ultima Live hanno parlato espressamente di Monk, Machinist e White Mage che inizieranno ad avere i primi adjustment nella 4.5 in previsione di un buff generale con la 5.0. Nessun accenno ad altri Job, poi magari con l'exp arriveranno.

Comprata l'edizione comprensiva di tutte le espansioni sino ad ora. Prima volta in cui mi immergo in un mmorpg e sto livellando dove ci sono marmotte, vespe e ranocchi. Il modo più veloce e safe per expare a lv 50? Vorrei cambiare/evolvere la classe in quella del samurai. Però ora che hanno mostrato il mago blu mi interessa anche quella

Per livellare principalmente Quest e Dungeon, oltre ci sono i Fate, il Challenge Log, le Levequest e le varie Duty Roulette. Coi mob non è fattibile il levelling oltre i primissimi livell

Il Blue Mage è un job anomalo che ha meccaniche a parte e non può giocare con le altre classi e nei raid, occhio.

Ma è a pagamento come World of Warcraft giusto? Quanto costa l abbonamento annuale? 

Sì è a sub. Il primo mese è incluso nel prezzo di ARR,  poi 10,99€ al mese l'abbonamento Entry per 1 solo pg, altrimenti c'è lo standard per 8 pg/alt da 12,99€ limabile a 10,99€ abbonandosi per 6 mesi di fila.

In rete ci sono ancora i codici per 2 mesi di standard intorno ai 20€, anche se ultimamente stanno venendo accantonati da SE a causa di problemi con il mercato delle Key e del grey market, quindi si trovano sempre meno e a prezzi più alti..
