The Caligula Effect is due out digitally for PS Vita on May 2 in the Americas and Europe.

Il gioco uscirà il 9 maggio, solo in versione digital download.

Ne esiste una versione deluxe, di cui trovate più dettagli un paio di post sopra.

Experience a dark story as the Go-Home Club does whatever it takes to escape the digital prison known as Mobius. The crew must defeat a group of evil music producers (known as the Ostinato Musicians) who have been working with μ, and come face-to-face with their own black secrets/desires. Ma in quale universo?

Queste schermate sono tutte scalettate e pixellose perché Atlus le ha furbascamente rilasciate in 1280x680 anziché la risoluzione nativa della PSV che è 960 x 544.

Se prendi una schermata di un gioco 3D e lo zoomi ottieni sti effetti orrendi...

Atlus sta facendo zero marketing su sto gioco e quel poco lo fa male al punto da essere quasi controproducente, son dei geni.

Party members
Shiki (human, male, 56 years-old)

Shiki is a veteran samurai who used to be called the Swordmaster. However, he lost his beloved daughter in a battle, so he retired with a feeling that he reaps what he sows. Since then, he spends every day going to the tavern.

Shiki starts with a one-handed katana and can learn moves like Razor Blizzard.

Robins (penguin, male, age unknown)

Robins is a male penguin who has a wife and three children. He has an unprecedented personality, and is always thinking about how he can become more noticeable. He likes to eat mackerel sashimi.

Robins has a cute charm in which he often blabbers without considering the situation. He also has unique moves that make use of his fins.

New worlds

Snow World

This is a world covered in snow caused by blizzards. Humans live in the Japanese castle town under the White Ridge Castle. It seems like the player will encounter Shiki and Robins in this world.

Key characters of the Snow World:

– Princess Yukiha: A 17-year old girl who owns the White Ridge Castle. She has a strong sense of justice, and she cares about her citizens, but she still doesn’t have enough abilities as a ruler.

– Juuza: A veteran elder who serves as Princess Yukiha’s tutor. He used to be known as a Swordmaster, but he has now retired.

Humans are gathering in the White Ridge Castle to rebel against the demon army. Garil and other members of the Night Raven resistance group also offer their support for the Human army in a major battle. In the Snow World, you can ride on a Snow Rabbit that has tremendous jumping power, allowing you to move around snowy fields and icy mountains.

Crystal World

A world that floats high above the sky and is surrounded by crystals of seven colors. It is comprised of a number of islands, and people travel between islands by using flying dragons as means of transportation. There is a deep relation between humans and dragons, and many of the building decorations are based on the dragons.

Key characters of the Crystal World:

– The Astrologer: the ruler of the Crystal World city Eshtolm. The Astrologer is a descendant of a clan of prognosticators who can predict the future by talking with stars, and has inherited the task from the ancestors.

– Matilda: a woman who is the captain of the Dragon Guards who serve the Astrologer. She takes her job with a fighting spirit, so she deals on any occurrences with formality.

The Dragon Guards each have a White Dragon that’s not only usable as means of transportation, but also as partners when intercepting invasions from outside enemies. During the event cut-scenes, you can see the Dragon Guards lining up in a formation; the player can also ride a dragon and participate in the aerial battle, together with Matilda and the Dragon Guards.

lol, avevamo già detto che il marketing fatto da Atlus su Caligula era vicino alla zero, ma devo dire che si sono superati di brutto in modi che mai avrei creduto possibile.

Be', hanno annunciato che il gioco in Europa è stato rimandato a data da destinarsi.

Il che mi ha fatto abbastanza incavolare.

Ma è tutta una tattica finemente studiata al fine di diminuire le vendite il più possibile dato che... il gioco è uscito sul PSN europeo come da originale previsione.

Tipico di Atlus venderti il gioco in bundle con roba che non necessariamente vuoi e fartela doverosamente pagare. :kep88:

Gender: Male

A monster who violently rules over the rain capital Svarna. He takes advantage of the fact that the Asmodians entrusted him to rule over the humans of rain world, and devotes himself to utmost evil.

Blue

Race: Asmodian

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown

An Asmodian who has the economy of this world under his thumb through his business of water from “The Blue Oasis,” the sole oasis of the burning world. He is respectful and tolerant towards those of high capability regardless of race.

Fiend

A tribe that is subordinate to the Asmodians. They have a beast-like appearance, and while more powerful than humans, they have little basic intelligence, and many of them are violent and lack reason.

Un articolo in cui vengono messi a confronto il prossimo The Alliance Alive con The Legend of Legacy, già disponibile EUR, spiegandone similitudini e differenze.

World SettingIn The Legend of Legacy, the game takes place entirely on one island named Avalon, which only has one city known as Initium. Dungeons are scattered all over the island, and the objective is to find relics of the gods.

However, with The Alliance Alive, an entire human world is split into numerous zones, each of which has unique developments with the demon clan ruling over humans. When the nine protagonists from the separated zones gather, it will mark the beginning of an adventure to unveil the world’s hidden mystery.

Battle System

The Legend of Legacy features the double dimension battle system where spirits in the field can be made into allies and provide advantages. The party can have up to three active characters and the battle uses positioning such as attack and guard positions.

With The Alliance Alive, the party can consist of up to five active characters with set formations. Characters can use eight weapon types and two magic types. They can learn new techniques and raise stats based on their movements in battles.

Gameplay System

The Legend of Legacy starts off with a blank map of the island. Players then fill the map by exploring fields and dungeons. The finished maps can be sold for game-balancing effects such as reducing enemy encounter rate.

The Alliance Alive features a telegraph system that connects the separated worlds. By further developing the Guild Towers located on fields, they will give rewards such as allowing for the development of new weapons and changing enemy encounter rates.

Fields

Players unlock new areas in The Legend of Legacy by discovering shortcuts or receiving maps from other adventurers. The entire world map is shown on screen with icons, which will allow access to the areas if tapped.

The Alliance Alive has players walking right on the world map and going to areas by actually visiting them. They can also use rides to reach areas that couldn’t be accessed by walking. After obtaining the ark Brionac, the player can pass through the Black Current to go to other worlds.

However, she has a strong sense of justice, and as a hard worker has earned great trust from the people.
