Finito SOMA, per certi versi l'opposto ideologico di Alien Isolation: lì si giocava per il gioco al gatto e al topo con una creatura dall'IA dinamica e adattabile, ignorando del tutto o quasi la narrazione; qui gli incontri con i mostri sono una parte minore (e mal realizzata) di un quadro generale più ampio, concentrato interamente sulla narrazione e sul dare spessore all'atmosfera di uno dei setting più pessimistici che abbia mai visto in ambito fantascienza / horror.
