■ The ProtagonistAn illustration and screenshots of the God Eater 3 protagonist have been revealed. He wields dual God Arcs, and wears bangles on each hand unlike previous God Arc users. His outfit his taped up in a number of places, and he wears a cape with an image of a broken Fenrir emblem.

—With bangles that restrain both of his arms, it seems that the position of this protagonist differs greatly from those of the past.

■ New Fields

Field graphics have significantly evolved from previous titles and offer an atmospheric sensation through the depth and expression of light, dust particles, and other details.

—A canyon field where the sun shines through the dust hanging over. The protruding rocks have been broken, and their insides have dissolved and are illuminating as if they are eroding. Human-made objects can be seen here and there.

—A ruined field covered in a grey emptiness, where crumbling buildings are lined up one after the other. A huge hole is visible in the slanted buildings, which emits an ominous light as if it was eaten into and inflamed. There is truly no feeling of human presence here.

■ New Aragami

Aragami graphics and motions have significantly evolved from previous titles. Aragami will become an even greater threat that attack the player.

First details on the new Aragami, which was only shown as a silhouette in previous trailers, have been revealed. Its massive appearance will overwhelm the player.

The new Aragami will launch devour attacks against God Arc users. This God Arc user-devouring Aragami will change forms from quadrupedal traversal to bipedal traversal in order to launch even more brutal attacks. And it will not stop at simply damaging the devoured player.

When the new Aragami’s form changes, its attack motions will also change in a big way. It is crucial that the player fights with different strategies during both its quadrupedal traversal to bipedal traversal phases.

■ New Actions

The God Arc possessed by the protagonist can transform into a two-handed weapon by connecting the handles. Whether the protagonist is in the Burst state or not, Oracle Cells will pour out from the bangle on his right arm.

With the God Arc in its gun form, it can fire a laser unseen in previous titles. This also marks the appearance of a new gun category.

Lively and exhilarating actions are well and alive in God Eater 3. Overpower Aragami with the shining trail of the protagonist’s slash attack.

■ Plus Many Other New Aragami and Fields

In addition to everything shown above, a large number of previously unseen fields and new Aragami will appear. More information will be shared in the future.

Il 24 marzo avrà luogo il God Eater 8th Anniversary Thanksgiving Day, che ovviamente verrà trasmesso su Youtube e NicoNico.

In quell'occasione, Bandai Namco svelerà nuove informazioni sia su God Eater 3 che su God Eater: Resonant Ops.

We get the announcement of the God Eater 8th Anniversary Thanksgiving Day event, which will actually be held on March 24th. The event will be broadcasted on YouTube Live, Nico Nico, and Periscope, and 200 fans chosen by lottery will be allowed to attend live at the venue.

The event will last two hours from 6 PM to 8 PM Japan time, and attendance for those selected will be free. It’ll be held at the Bandai Namco Future Research Institute in Shiba, Tokyo. Perspective attendees can apply here between today and March 4th. Winners will be announced on March 13th.

Among the hosts, we’ll see the series’ development staff and voice actors. According to the announcement, we’ll finally receive the latest news on the series, including the upcoming console game God Eater 3 and mobile game God Eater: Resonant Ops.

Speaking of God Eater: Resonant Ops, an art contest among the fans has also been announced. Artwork can be submitted to three categories, God Arc, Aragami, and Costumes. Applications can be done here, once more until March 4th. Unfortunately, only fans resident in Japan will be eligible to receive the prizes.

Last, but not least, a special cafe named “God Eater 8th Anniversary Cafe with Code Vein” will be opened in Tokyo between February 20th and February 25th. The venue will be the Anion Cafe in the Akihabara station, and a special themed menu will be offered. As you may have imagined, Code Vein will also be featured, even if further details are pending.

An unknown phenomenon called “Ash Area” is destroying all structures it comes into contact with, turning them into Ashes.The story revolves around a new kind of God Eaters, named Adaptive God Eaters, or AGE for short. The new character accompanying the hero is Hugo Pennyworth, a young man who became an AGE at a young age alongside with the hero himself.

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu has new details on God Eater 3.
Here are the tidbits:

New Weapon Categories

“Biting Edge” – Possesses both dual wielding and mow-down blade forms. When in the mow-down blade state, stamina does not recover, but you have a wide range of attack. Airborne attacks are also possible.

“Raygun” – A radiation gun, the power of which increases the longer it irradiates. You can also shoot while moving. The gun’s power resets when you stop shooting.

“Accel Trigger” – Drastically strengthens the player when certain conditions are met. You can use Accel Trigger as many times as you want as long as you meet its conditions, but whether you aim for a greater effect triggered by more difficult conditions or focus on easier conditions is up to you.

“Engage” – Link up with one of your allies and share various effects. Your Engage percentage will increase by fighting within a fixed range of your ally, and when it reaches its maximum value, you can activate Engage. When Engage is activated, you also share Accel Trigger effects with your ally.

New Aragami: “Ash Region Species” – Also known as the Aragami of Calamity, they have high adaptability to the Ash Region. Unlike regular Aragami, they are believed to have a common configuration that is a counter adaptation factor contained in their core that prevents devouring from the Ash Region. It has a devour ability, stimulates its own Oracle Cells, and can cause a phenomenon similar to a God Eater’s Burst. When it is devouring, Link Aid and Link Burst are not available.
