For our 12-page cover story, we spoke to Guerrilla Games about what Aloy’s adventure westward will entail, and we were treated to two hands-off demos. One demo showcased an area early in the game, providing a glimpse at the more detailed towns and character models alongside the new skill trees and workbench system. Our second demo took us much later in the game to see a boss battle in action against a new fierce foe: the Slitherfang. However, the new machines are only part of Aloy’s struggles this time around. Find out more about the additional pressures and conundrums coming her way, and how Guerrilla Games is taking Aloy and the gameplay in Horizon Forbidden West to a new level.
La gente non è mai contenta.Le lamentele anche per il peso su twitter.. ormai mi stanno facendo passare la voglia di seguire persino gli sviluppi.
There are six different playstyle paths, each with around 20-30 skills each. Six playstyles are Warrior (melee attacks), Trapper (placing traps), Survivor (health/resources), Infiltrator (stealth), Hunter (ranged attacks), and Machine Master (hacking). You can mix and match as you choose and do not have to choose just one. Each tree has their own unique Valor surge move.
-Cinematics have been fully upgraded with new facial animations and motion capture
-New side content known as "Melee Pits" can be found in towns. They offer challenges to test your skills and teach you new melee combo attacks and how to chain them together. Sounds kinda like some kind of fighting arena?
Mamma mia è stupendo, le location acquatiche sono fuori parametro
: -Fighting alongside NPCs happens more often, and they can now sometimes throw out ammo for you
-Bristlebacks can unearth scrap and it embue it with elemental material, then throw it at the player
-Cinematics have been fully upgraded with new facial animations and motion capture
- "Acid arrows" are now a thing, presumably Acid is now a new elemental type
-Petra is back!!! Still as flirty with Aloy as ever

-Side quests have better rewards to help make them more meaningful for players. So you are more likely to get cool items like new weapons or armor for beating side quests
-The new Workbench mechanic is where you go to upgrade weapons and armors. There's a bigger focus on requiring machine parts in this game, so whenever you upgrade you almost always need to hunt for a specific machine part.
-Upgrading is explained briefly: for example, the Common Bow has three level of upgrades. Each time you upgrade it at the workbench, the stats get better and you may unlock a new ammo type. For example, upgrading the common bow lets you use Acid Arrows. So it sounds like instead of having to buy the new rarity of bow in order to access new ammo types like you did in Zero Dawn, now you can upgrade weapons to increase ammo capabilities.
-Outfits can be upgraded 3 to 5 times. Upgrading them improves resistances and also increases the skill boost it provides (for example, if you have an armor that improves the "Passive Health Regen" skill, it increases it by a further percentage)
-A new NPC named Alva becomes one of Aloy's new friends in Forbidden West. Supposedly Alva is a member of a "mysterious new tribe" so maybe Utaru and Tenakth aren't the only new players in FW
