The western released of Nippon Ichi’s PlayStation Vita exclusive sidescrolling action-puzzler htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary(http://www.siliconera.com/tag/htolniq/)has been pushed back to February 2015.

It was originally slated for a release in the US and Europe this fall (http://www.siliconera.com/2014/07/03/criminal-girls-fireflys-diary-coming-west-vita/), but two new trailers that were uploaded to the PSN Store recently reveal the game’s new release dates.

The first trailer was uploaded to the UK store on October 29th (https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-gb/games/htolniq-the-firefly-diary-trailer-1/cid=EP1063-PCSB00641_00-EVI0000000000295) issues a February 23rd released date for the game in Europe. While a second trailer uploaded to the US store on November 11th (https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-ca/games/htolniq-the-firefly-diary-trailer-1/cid=UP1063-PCSE00527_00-UVI0000000000243) issues a February 10th release date.

The Firefly Diary has you controlling two fireflies to guide a young girl through the treacherous dark ruins of a desolate world. It uses the touchscreen and rear touchpad, but you can choose to use analog sticks if you prefer too.

htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary was released in Japan this past summer.

Scusate su uppo a vuoto, ma volevo sapere se lo store USA di NISA pretende i soldi in anticipo per il pre-order della limited.

Ni, non se li prende, ma gli blocca per una quindicina di giorni e poi te li rende dinuovo disponibili... ma tanto lo store usa non spedisce piu al di fuori dell'America, noi europei saimo costretti a fare gli ordini sullo store europeo pgando la roba il doppio //content.invisioncic.com/a283374/emoticons/emoticons_dent1005.gif

L'unica alternativa allo store europeo è di andare di ebay a gioco uscito

NIS America has released a new batch of htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary screenshots.
The PS Vita puzzle action game is due out digitally on February 24 in North America and February 25 in Europe, with a limited quantity physical edition available exclusively in the U.S. through NIS America’s online store.

The screenshots showcase some of the environments you’ll guide main character Mion through, including the ruins, her home, and the forest. You’ll come across missing pieces of her memory on your journey, which are indicated by color bars.

There’s some good news for those curious about Nippon Ichi’s upcoming Vita exclusive htoL#NiQ (Hotaru no Nikki) The Firefly Diary. The domestic version of the game comes complete with an update that allows the player to change up the control scheme. The version I got stuck with only came with touchscreen and back touchpad-based controls which didn’t serve well at all.
The alternative allows fireflies to be controlled with an analog stick instead of touches, and swapping views to be done with face buttons.

Sadly, it doesn’t make Mion any more responsive or…shall we say…smart. Nonetheless, I imagine this change would definitely relieve some of the frustration I had with that game.
