Le prossime 2 settimane di Nintendo saranno belle cariche. Questo giovedì avrà luogo la rivelazione del nuovo hardware Nintendo, Switch XL, che verrà lanciato il 24 Settembre. Nessun dock. Si avrà invece un cavalletto estraibile simile al Surface Pro, un attacco USB-C sul retro per la ricarica, una porta HDMI 2.1 dedicata, 2 porte USB 3.0 e 1 slot microsd. Quando viene tenuto in mano, c'è una tacca nel cavalletto in cui è possibile far scorrere un cavo USB C senza doverlo estrarre. Al lancio, il DLSS sarà disponibile su alcuni titoli accuratamente selezionati: Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8, Fire Emblem 3 Houses, ciascuno aggiornato a 4k e 60 Fps, utilizzando la modalità portatile oppure disponibili in 4K a 30 Fps in modalità docked. Per impostazione predefinita, in portatile sarà 720p 60fps. Si avrà 1 colore al lancio, grigio/nero.

Il doppio pacchetto Ocarina of Time e Majora's Mask arriverà il 3 settembre e saranno versioni HD dalle conversioni 3DS. Samus ritornerà in Metroid Rebellion il 13 agosto, simile ai giochi 3DS, Donkey Kong ritornerà a sua volta con Donkey Kong Jungle Spectre, un nuovo avventura/platform 3D, previsto per l'8 Ottobre.

Per NSO, i software Game Boy inizieranno il 3 settembre. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC previsto per il 3 dicembre. Include una nuova coppa Nintendo (il trofeo è una "N") 4 nuovi personaggi: Samus, Pit, Fox e Captain Falcon, 12 nuovi tracciati, 2 nuove mappe per la modalità battaglia, nuovi kart e componenti aggiuntivi.

Ma alla fine BotW non è che differisca così tanto da quel trailer a livello tecnico
Solo che appunto, essendo in engine potevano alzare di più risoluzione e densità dell'erba.
Più che altro trovo interessante come in quel video il mondo differisce tantissimo dal gioco finale, quando ai TGA del 2014 la mappa era pressochè identica a quella finale.

Se il trailer di BotW2 del 2019 sono da immagini effettivamente provenienti dal gioco, già si vedono alcuni miglioramenti, non solo a livello di texture ma illuminazione, con la possibilità di avere ad esempio più fonti di luce che proiettano ombre,

Mi sorprende sempre come i fan Nintendo che si lanciano a fare prediction abbiano così poca fantasia, Mario Zelda Metroid DK, non c’è alcuna sorpresa lì in mezzo. Poi mi fa sempre sorridere il fatto che secondo loro le terze parti non possano mai annunciare giochi nei Direct, quando è tipo la cosa più facile da predire
