Kakegurui Live-Action Film Gets Sequel in 2021

The staff of the first live-action film based on Homura Kawamoto and Tōru Naomura's Kakegurui - Compulsive Gambler manga revealed on Saturday that the film is getting a sequel that will open in Japan in 2021. The film is temporarily titled Eiga Kakegurui Part2. The sequel will include a returning cast. Tsutomu Hanabusa is returning to direct the film and write the screenplay, and Minato Takano is also writing the screenplay.

Kakegurui Writer Homura Kawamoto Launches New Manga With Artist Makoto Shiozuka

This year's November issue of Tokuma Shoten's Comic Zenon magazine revealed on Friday that writer Homura Kawamoto (Kakegurui) will launch the new manga Majo Taisen (The War of Witches) with artist Makoto Shiozuka in the magazine's next issue on October 24.

The magazine teased that the story is about 32 historical women including Joan of Arc, Cleopatra, Tomoe Gozen, and Marie Antoinette. In the manga, the prodigies are "greedy witches" who kill each other to fulfill their own desires.

Kakegurui Twins Spinoff Manga Gets Live-Action Series in 2021

Square Enix revealed on Wednesday that Katsura Saiki's Kakegurui Twins manga spinoff is inspiring a live-action television series that will premiere in 2021. Aoi Morikawa (seen in costume below) will return from the previous live-action Kakegurui adaptations to reprise her role as Mary Saotome, the main character of the spinoff manga.

Tsutomu Hanabusa, the director of the live-action Kakegurui film, is credited as chief director for the new series, while Shinya Nagano is returning from previous live-action Kakegurui television series as the director. Minato Takano and Hanabusa are also returning from previous series as scriptwriters.

The film is tentatively titled Eiga Kakegurui Part 2, and it will star Johnny's West member Ryūsei Fujii (seen in costume right in visual below) as the character Makuro Shikigami.

The staff for the live-action series of Katsura Saiki's Kakegurui Twins manga spinoff revealed on Saturday that the show will debut on Amazon Prime on March 26. The staff also revealed nine cast members in costume, including the previously announced Aoi Morikawa as Mary Saotome, who is reprising her role from previous live-action adaptations. The show will air for eight episodes, and two episodes will premiere each week.

The trailer also reveals the film's full title of Kakegurui: Zettai Zetsumei Russian Roulette (Kakegurui: Last Resort Russian Roulette), and the film's April 29 opening date. In pratica ha fatto un isekai con numerosi protagonisti di altri isekai che sono stronzissimi e bisogna farli fuori.

Il capo è lo spadaccino oscuro KIRUTO.

Gli è arrivato un oceano di letame addosso da chiunque e immagino numerose cause di copyright, la serie è stata adesso cancellata dopo UN capitolo.

Badate che dopo kakeguri aveva già fatto un isekai che ha fallito (isekai avvocato lol), quindi questa serie è puramente un suo sfogo contro il genere.

Kakegurui's Homura Kawamoto Launches New Manga

This year's September issue of Akita Shoten's Champion RED magazine announced on Monday that writer Homura Kawamoto (Kakegurui) and Zuzu Kamiya will launch a new manga titled Isekai no Hime to no Koi Bakuchi ni, Jinrui no Sonbо̄ ga Kakkatemasu (Humanity's Existence Depends on Love Gambling with Another World's Princess) in the magazine's next issue on August 19.

The story follows Ryumis (name romanizations not confirmed), the daughter of the Demon King from another world. Kazuki of the human world is entrusted with her, and should he accept this duty, he shall die, but if he refuses, the world will be destroyed.

Kawamoto and artist Aki Yamaguchi's new fantasy manga Isekai Tenseisha Goroshi -Cheat Slayer- ("Killing the People Reincarnated into the Other World -Cheat Slayer-") was canceled on June 28 after one chapter. The manga debuted on June 9 in Monthly Dragon Age.
