■ Abandoned Amusement Park
A land of dreams once enjoyed by many. While the people have long disappeared, everything is still running. It appears that a community of special machine life-forms is being created in this area, with numerous individuals wearing flashy outfits being spotted.
NieR: Automata
■ Submerged City
A collapsed metropolis, now mostly at the bottom of the sea as the result of a large-scale battle. There are only a few skyscrapers sticking out of the water’s surface that managed to retain the glory that the city once boasted of.
■ Dedicated Motions for When You’re Unarmed
Being unarmed—without a weapon—is categorized as hand-to-hand fighting, and dedicated motions will be available. When you’re not wielding anything, the speed of your techniques is by far the fastest, but they are limited in power.
■ Wild Animal Mounts
Wild animals inhabit the fields. Giving some wild animals bait will let you ride them, allowing you to use them as a means of movement. Depending on its species, the animal’s properties are somewhat different.
—Ride a deer! You can’t drift, but it has great jumping ability!
—Just like the first game, you can drift while riding a wild boar! Only in NieR can you drift while riding a boar!
■ Fishing
You can fish by throwing your pod into a body of water. In addition to fish and fish-type machine life-forms, you can also reel in various other things.
■ Jukebox
With the jukebox available at the resistance camp, you can listen to songs from the game. With the jukebox, things such as melody alterations, vocals, and chorus presence can be finely arranged. Switch up the arrangement of your favorite music from the game for a nice change of pace.
NieR: Automata will launch for PlayStation 4 in Japan on February 23, in North America on March 7, and in Europe on March 10. A PC release is due out in 2017. A PlayStation 4 demo is available now worldwide.

Square Enix will officially announce a NieR: Automata-themed PlayStation 4 model for Japan next week, the company teased on a live stream this morning.
The top cover of the PlayStation 4 model will feature Emil. Here’s the quick look shown during the live stream:
The company also shared a look at NieR: Automata‘s Monster Hunter Frontier Z collaboration. On the left is the headpiece for male characters, and on the right the headpiece for female characters:

Is there a possibility of a NieR Remaster or Re-Release? "There is a very high possibility if NieR Automata sells like hotcakes, yes."
How long is NieR Automata? "To get to the true ending, the team tells me around 25 hours. For completionists, it'll be around 55 to 60 hours."
Will there be extra costumes? "That's a secret!"
Will there be multiple endings? "Of course, but they won't be unlocked in the same way as the previous game. You'll have to figure out how to get them on your own."
Any Updates on the PC Version? "We're working hard on it, but if I said anything, ninjas from SE would try to kill me, so I've got nothing to announce."
Is a Switch Port Planned? "If SE pays us for it, we'll make it - we'll even make it for the super nintendo."
Will there be Easter Eggs in the game? (Like 2B Petting her Pod with the Touch Pad.) "Yes, there will be many like that throughout the game."
Was the Demo part of the game, or seperate? "It happens in the game, but there are events both before and after."
Will Automata switch Genres like the original NieR did? (i.e: Text Adventure) "Yoko-san had to put in another text adventure just because people hated the first one."
