The localization for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II has gone gold and the game will launch both physically and digitally for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in North America on September 6, XSEED Games announced. It will cost $39.99.In Europe, the game is due out this fall.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II picks up one month after the decisive collision which changed the fate of the entire nation at the conclusion of Trails of Cold Steel. Speedy, tactical turn-based combat with the newly-developed “ARCUS” system returns with all the bells and whistles players fondly remember alongside a new Overdrive mode, new means of transportation across both the land and sky, new allies, new dangers, and a renewed sense of hope as Rean tirelessly works to right the wrongs that have led the country to disarray.

Cross-Save functionality between the game’s “PS Vita” and PS3 editions remains supported, and save data from the first game grants bonus stats and extra items. In addition, relationships cultivated during the earlier time players spent at Thors Military Academy affect future story elements and allow for more personalized conversations throughout the game.

Falcom will release “Private Swimsuit” downloadable content for Tokyo Xanadu eX+ alongside the game’s release in Japan on September 8, the company announced.
The downloadable content consists of swimsuit outfits for Asuka, Sora, Mitsuki, and Rion. Each will cost 300 yen. You’ll also be able to take off the beach sandals included with the swimsuits to walk around barefoot. It’s noted that if you go barefoot with Mitsuki, the sunglasses she wears on her head will also be removed. And if you go barefoot with Rion, here t-shirt will be removed.

Three other add-ons will also launch alongside the swimsuits:

High-Grade Accessory Set (300 yen) – A high-grade accessory set that will prove useful until the end of the game. It includes “Morimaru Strap,” “Bronze Charm,” “Silver Earrings,” “Gold Bangle,” and “Mythology Rocket.”

Free Trial Set 1 (Free) – A free, recovery-based item set. Includes “Cure Potion I,” “Cure Potion II,” “Breath Potion I,” “Breath Potion II,” “Resurrection I,” and “Anti-Daughter.”

Free Trial Set 2 (Free) – A trial version of an item to fight a herd of the DLC-exclusive rare Greed, “Shining Pom.” By defeating the herd, you can raise the entire party’s level by one.

Sullo Store JP di PS4 c'è la demo di Tokyo Xanadu eX+.

The demo will let players control protagonist Kou and experience both adventure parts in Tokyo’s Morimiya City, and together with his classmates, action parts within the Spirit World dungeons, including a boss battles against Elder Greed. In total, you’ll be able to play the game from the beginning up until the third chapter.
The save data from the free version can be used in the full version of the game, should you decide to purchase it. Downloadable content from the full version is not compatible with the free version, however.

The free version also supports 4K resolution for PlayStation 4 Pro users.
