Bandai Namco will announce a new Sword Art Online game during Dengeki Bunko Fall Festival 2017 on October 1, the teaser description for the Sword Art Online stage event happening from 11:30 to 12:10 JST teases.
The description reads: “Furthermore, it seems that there will be announcements of new developments in the Sword Art Online Project, including game(s).”

Bandai Namco’s Yosuke Futami, who produces the company’s Sword Art Online games, will be featured as a guest at the stage event.

online non vuol dire che sia online, e' la serie che si chiama cosi e si basa su una storia di un mmo ( ecco il nome ) e' un jrpg classico

GGO nella saga di SAO è uno shooter online, l'RPG era nella prima serie su Aincrad e ALO dove appunto nei giochi precedenti erano dei JRPG. Anche dal trailer sembra che l'abbiano trasposto in un TPS del cavolo...

si infatti guardando il trailer non e' il solito SAO, ma piu' jrpg/tps visto l'uso delle armi, ma sempre fittizio online e non reale proprio come la serie principale .almeno da quel che scrivono ( preciso che per ora non ne ho giocato 1 solo perche' tutti mi han consigliato di vedermi prima la serie e saro' alla 3° puntata )

quello che e' ottimo pero' e' il cambio di motore grafico che pare essere generale per namco, finalmente non piu' i motori da ps2, ma l'unreal da quel che pare in tutta la loro produzione, dopo il gioco stile souls infatti arriva sao, e probabilmente il prossimo sara' tales

In ogni caso l'online nei SAO è SEMPRE fittizio e legato al titolo, sono tutti SP con una componente multiplayer accessoria e abbastanza relegata. Di MMO come nella storia non ne hanno ancora realizzato uno, stranamente

in realta' lo stanno facendo, ma e' solo per pc/visori , lo hanno annunciato mi pare ad inizio anno

la serie in ogni caso pur per quel poco che ho visto non mi pare malaccio, prima o poi mi prendero' il primo ( in ita ) e se mi piace li piglio tutti con calma

Se intendi il gioco in VR sviluppato dalla IBM lascia perdere, era solo una trovata pubblicitaria per l'uscita in giappone del film di Ordinal Scale. Tutto finto
