poi se è veramente un progetto vivo, non sarebbe stato il progetto successivo a tekken tag? invece che infilarci prima un tekken 7? contando che un simile crossover con combo "nuove console" + "unreal engine 4" sarebbe stato un titolo di maggior richiamo per il povero parco titoli della next next gen?

Vi aspettavate veramente del gameplay? L'UE4 è stato rilasciato pochi mesi fa, mi sarei stupito se dopo così poco tempo avessero già del materiale presentabile in questo senso.

Di TekkenXSF cosa abbiamo? Due schizzi risalenti a un anno fa (e forse più) e decine di "non è stato cancellato". With the recent string of news about Street Fighter V and Tekken 7 having been announced some time ago fans of the series may been wondering about Tekken x Street Fighter.

 


Never fear, according to a recent interview of Katsuhiro Harada on Korean site inven Tekken x Street Fighter is still happening and “Tekken x Street Fighter’s base system is already finished.” This does muddy things a little bit as far as release dates go. Harada also said that they plan to finish Tekken 7 and its updates before finishing Tekken x Street Fighter and that they would also be releasing it strategically as to not cause any problems.

 


Having Tekken 7 and Street Fighter V come out before the crossover makes perfect sense. The only downside of that for fans looking forward to it is that the release date sounds pretty far away. With Street Fighter V not releasing until sometime in 2015 or maybe even 2016, as it’s only 20% done, you could be waiting for a while. Silver lining: It’s still happening.

Ho il terrore di quello che verrà fuori. Le meccaniche di sf non centrano nulla con tekken, senza contare lo stile grafico differente dei personaggi della serie. Poi a vedere sf v t. cosa ne è uscito fuori ancora di più spero non esca proprio per non rovinare la fama di entrambe le saghe.

40 people working on Tekken X Street Fighter

Tekken X Street Fighter is still in development, with about 40 staff at Bandai Namco toiling away on it, Tekken series director Katushiro Harada told Polygon.

“It’s very difficult to talk about,” Harada said. “Obviously, I had originally planned to release it much earlier than we’re currently looking at.”

According to the director, the game was delayed not because of development trouble, but because other fighting games had saturated the market.

And while Tekken X Street Fighter is indeed in development, Tekken 7 will remain Bandai Namco’s current focus.

“Tekken 7 will be our big thing for the next while,” Harada said.

Harada wouldn’t commit when asked if Tekken X Street Fighter will be released within the next two years. But when it does resurface, he wants it to surprise people.

“People have been talking about the game for such a long time that they aren’t going to be surprised if you just release it normally,” Harada said.

Harada recalls the release of Tekken Revolution, the free-to-play PlayStation 3 game which was released a week after it was announced.

“I don’t know if that’s what we have planned, but we do plan to have some kind of surprise,” Harda said.
