il problema è che manca un emulatore ps2 tanto quanto ne manca uno ps3. quello ps2 su ps4 è scarso, buggato, parzialmente non retrocompatibile e leggevo che pare funga pure da base per delle falle di sicurezza

vorrei sperare che sia una questione di tempo e che prima o poi e tirino fuori uno nuovo e almeno vagamente decente, il problema è che non ne hanno alcun bisogno per come hanno apparecchiato il premium. tra remasters, giochi ps3 del now tolti prima del lancio per rimetterli gradualmente spacciandoli per nuovi e giochi ps1/psp inseriti col contagocce sono già a posto per 10 anni probabilmente

Sì. Se non erro dovrebbe valere la stessa politica dei PS1.

Non mi sorprenderei di vedere un plot twist con loro che aggiungono un emulatore PSVita a PS5 prima di quello PS3 o PS2

E come si farebbe per le peculiarità del sistema? Per esempio con Golden Abyss c'è una parte in cui bisogna puntare la camera verso una luce per poter vedere "attraverso" un foglio... il touch screen si può emulare con il touch pad... ma tutto il resto?

In effetti quello è un problema, hai ragione. Mi verrebbe da dire che con la buona volontà si fa pure senza o con soluzioni workaround (vedi gli emulatori PSVita su PC) però "Sony" e "Buona volontà" messi nella stessa frase è un postulato notevole - a quel punto è più facile l'emu home console per loro
