Twin Mirror, the upcoming psychological thriller from Bandai Namco and Dontnod Entertainment, will be an episodic game composed of three parts, with the first episode “Lost on Arrival” due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2019, Bandai Namco announced at Gamescom 2018.
Here are the latest details, via Bandai Namco:

Twin Mirror
, lets players take on the role of Sam, an investigative journalist returning home to bury an old friend. But, as Sam wakes up in his motel room with a blood-stained shirt and no memory of the night before he must embark on a thrilling investigation, and make a series of impactful choices to discover the truth.
 
His greatest talent, revealed today at Gamescom, is his Mind Palace. While the untrained mind may forget crucial information, or fail to remember critical clues, Sam’s brain works differently. Over many years, Sam has trained to create his very own Mind Palace. A place to access at will and recreate memories from the past, or even piece together possible scenarios. But, even the greatest tools can get rusty if not properly trained, and players will have to start by jogging Sam’s memory.
 
When solving the game’s mysteries, players will have to gather clues from the real world, navigating between the former and the Mind Palace, until they’re able to recreate forgotten or hidden events of past. Sam’s mind is also a place of wonder and mystery.
 
Another key mechanic is – The Double, Sam’s inner voice takes the form of a classy yet sarcastic version of himself. But, is he here to help? Or to hinder Sam? Players will have to discover the truth as they progress through the story, navigating between Sam’s instincts and the Double’s quirky guidance.

Ed anche per questo se ne parlerà in versione completa, o comunque quando uscirà tutto il gioco, per quanto mi riguarda, come sempre per i giochi venduti a pezzi.

Il primo in uscita in 'early 2019'...

Con probabile ''serie completa'' in uscita subito dopo l'ultimo per Dicembre 2019, o inizio 2020. Ma questo è un mio pensiero.

Per far uscire ulteriori 2 episodi ci mettono un anno ? Non l'ha fatto neanche la Telltale nei suoi momenti peggiori :hmm:

 
No, non credo un anno intero, ma quasi.

Comunque dicono che gli altri usciranno nel corso dell'anno...

We also learned that Twin Mirror will be released episodically throughout 2019. This is a format Dontnod is experienced in, but should still play out interestingly with this style of game. The first of three episodes of Twin Mirror will be titled Lost on Arrival and will hit in “early 2019” with the other episodes following later in the year.

Per me potrebbero fare un episodio ogni 2 mesi, tipo LIS, ma in questo caso essendo 3 episodi, invece di 5, si suppone che singolarmente siano più corposi, quindi se fossero distanziati di 3 mesi non mi sorprenderebbe affatto.

early 2019 può significare febbraio, cosi come aprile.

Facciamo ipoteticamente Marzo. Poi secondo episodio a maggio/giugno, terzo episodio agosto/settembre.

A ottobre/novembre la versione completa... ci può stare.

Ovviamente se esce per marzo, se esce già ad Aprile/Maggio allora si andrebbe tranquillamente più in là per la versione completa.

Qui c'è scritto che hanno cambiato i piani e sarà un gioco singolo, non più ad episodi.

Non so, questa tipologia di giochi negli ultimi anni sto facendo fatica a giocarli.

Tra l'altro il chara sembra anche abbastanza anonimo...
