Mega Man 2

What appears to be a Met Generator, judged by the Met-sized mouth and the Met-like features, can be found within the background tiles of Crashman's Stage, which went unused in the final game.

Un target un po' diverso :pokidance:

SolBh2j.jpg

According to the game's executive producer Takeshi Miyaji in a 2000 Dreamcast Magazine interview, the interviewer asked him if the game's target demographic would be a little older now given that Grandia II was the second game in the series, and he responded:"Yeah. To begin with, obviously the people who played Grandia are also now 3-4 years older. So that was one reason we raised our target age.

The other reason is that, with the Grandia series, we don’t want to make the same game every time. The last game was a young boy’s tale of adventure, but in Grandia we wanted to show other things. By raising the target age, we could make the world a little more edgy and mature."

La fine di Lara?

1177.png

Tomb Raider The Last Revelation

This game was supposed to be the last in the franchise with Lara seemingly dying by falling to her death at the end. In Andy Sandham's own words; "we attempted to kill Lara off because we really thought we'd exhausted what we could do with the franchise. Seeing Lara falling down a gigantic hole in the middle of the pyramid was quite a joyous moment. So, we went for a few pints to celebrate her death."

Un eroe mancato :sadfrog:

QMtWQN4.jpg

Terry was originally designed as the game's hero, with the intention of making him seem a bit shiftier than previous protagonists, but was ultimately replaced by the more conventional hero design used in the final game.

Miyako was first mentioned in the art book as Yamato's rumored younger twin sister. According to Shinjiro Takada and Akiko Kotoh in interview, Miyako was actually a character that was decided on during the development of the original version of the game for Nintendo DS, so Miyako being Yamato's twin sister was most likely the initial idea for her character. However, they decided that she was unnecessary while working out details on the scenario, and decided to omit her. She’s still a character they contemplated, so her inclusion began after consulting with the writer on whether she could appear in the Triangulum Arc.

217 yen:

17320.jpg

Yakuza 5

Unlike other characters in Yakuza 5 or in other games where they would start with a few thousand yen, the beginning of Tatsuo Shinada’s story has him start with exactly 217 yen in his in-game inventory. He cannot spend or earn any additional money during this portion of the game. This is referenced in a cutscene where Shinada empties his wallet into his hand, where exactly 217 yen in coins fall into it.

Creato in un secondo momento :morty:

The character Zack Fair was created late into development. He was made up along the way as Kazushige Nojima was building up the mysteries surrounding Cloud (most importantly, who he was and who he based his fake cocky personality on). Before Zack was created, Aerith was to see her first love in Cloud, though who that person would be was not yet decided until later, but there were plans to make this person Sephiroth. Eventually, Zack was placed to serve as both Aerith's first love and to solve the mysteries surrounding Cloud. When he was finally developed, Nojima asked the staff in charge of the event scenes to add foreshadowing to Cloud's true persona and to Zack himself. Zack was also the last character to be drawn by Tetsuya Nomura.

Unused ma solo inizialmente :marmotta:
TzxhxSw.jpeg

The "Fate/Unpublished Material" and "Fate/Side Material" booklets reveal an unused character for Fate/Stay Night. "Tachie", otherwise known as "Galahad", "Shielder", or "Stray Servant" was planned as an alternate Heroine Servant the player could have chosen instead of Saber. She was scrapped from the game as to keep the story manageable.
This character was also planned for the animated adaptation of Fate/Stay Night by Studio Deen, but was scrapped in favor of an adaptation of the "Fate" Route. An animated movie featuring Tachie was also considered, but also abandoned.
This unused character was later revisited and inspired the design for Mash Kyrielight, a seperate Shielder Servant and primary heroine of Fate/Grand Order.

Un colpo caricato che risucchia. :ooo:

The secret room :marmotta:

xAijQlD.png

There is a secret room in Laharl's castle. To get to it, the player must press a hidden button behind Laharl's throne, and another one on the skull on the counter of The Rosen Queen store. Then, in the big hall with Longinus, investigate the corner behind a Prinny complaining about a breeze. This will lead to Etna's secret chamber, where she will store her diary. Reading the diary in every chapter will reward you with an item called "Testament". In the later ports, this also unlocks Etna Mode after beating the game.

Diddy Kong

The character Diddy Kong was going to be an updated version of Donkey Kong Junior, but Nintendo did not like this idea, suggesting either to give him his old look or make him a new character. Rare chose the latter and Diddy Kong was made.

In poche parole, doveva essere DK Jr, ma siccome gli sketch lo rappresentarono troppo diverso, Nintendo disse a RARE di scegliere: rifarlo per assomigliare di più a Jr originale o creare un nuovo personaggio

Sudden revelation :coosaa:

vr6LzwF.jpeg

If the player talks to Laharl, the protagonist from Disgaea 1, in the Camp-Pain HQ, he reveals that his scarf is actually a part of his body. This contradicts Disgaea Infinite in which a conversation with Gordon can have Laharl remove his scarf.

Vi manca l'1% per completarlo?

Kirby's Dream Land 2

In the Japanese version of the game, the character Chao from the Japan-only game, Famicom Mukashibanashi: Yūyūki (ふぁみこんむかし話 遊遊記) can be found in a bag that is guarded by a mid-boss. She can only be found in the bag if the player already has the corresponding animal friend. She has a very low chance of showing up, and when she does, she gives you an extra life and adds 1% to the game's completion, making it necessary to find her to get 100% completion. She is replaced by Gooey in the international versions.
