• Combat is tense and deliberate with each enemy posing a bigger challenge than the original
• Play Alan or Saga's missions in any order
• Big focus on environmental puzzle solving. Optional puzzles are littered around the world with powerful rewards.
• Alan's Angel Lamp can absorb light and rewrite reality around you, unlocking new paths
• Live action scenes return giving more backstory; unlock them by lining up Echoes found in the world
• Movement is slower and more methodical, similar to Resident Evil or Silent Hill
• Hold the touchpad to immediately enter the Mind Place/Writer's Room; an interactive pause menu where you can piece together clues and leads
• Safe rooms are in the game, with save points and storage chests for your limited inventory space (can be upgraded)
• Bright Falls features lots of environmental storytelling, lore bits, and local drama from the residents
• Performance mode confirmed on PS5/XSX
