“It was just as the pandemic hit, – Michael (McGlynn composer who has worked on Diablo III and in the promotion for Xenoblade Chronicles 2) got in touch and just said ‘listen, we’re writing music for a remake of a PlayStation game’ — he’s done a lot of writing for different games that are very well-known but I’m actually not a gamer myself.”

“I was involved with was the lyric-writing in the Irish language, and his daughter sang on the track and his wife arranged part of the choral parts, and so did Michael. And he also worked with me on the language side of things, so it was almost like a family effort.”

“For ages I wasn’t allowed to really… you don’t know what you’re writing for, it’s kind of undisclosed because they don’t want it to get out. It’s actually going to be announced at Christmas, the name of the game. I have heard of it now and I have been told, [had it] confirmed it is a big game, which is great. So it’s going to be an Irish language piece in the game, which is brilliant.”

Chrono Cross Remastered is currently in development, and it will launch on multiple platforms.

Speaking during the latest episode of the XboxERA Podcast, Shpeshal Nick, who proved to be reliable in the past, revealed that Chrono Cross Remastered is currently in the works as a multiplatform title. Apparently, the yet-to-be-announced remaster is the big PlayStation remake that is going to be announced next month teased by Irish folk singer Éabha McMahon last month.

Fairly certain Chrono Cross is a remake. Not a remaster. This isn't a FF8 Remaster type release.

Minor things. Certainly subject to change.

It's not a high budget release. But I don't believe it's a simple remaster ala FF8.

But I've also seen some reporting suggest Forever Entertainment is doing Chrono Cross... so maybe scope changed & the info I had is out of date.

Cmq un "remake" con un budget simile alle FF Pixel Remasters, magari ce casca.
 
Molte voci parlano di Remake... Ma visto che ormai è tutto molto mescolato a livello terminolgico, per ora teniamo Remastered... Ma penso che sarà un lavoro un pizzico più grosso di una semplice remastered con upscale della risoluzione.

Basta che non lo piazzano a prezzo pieno come gli amici Rockstar
 
Io lo aspetto più che altro perché se lo annunciano è come confermare implicitamente che anno prossimo è il turno di FFT e TO :yeahmini: Grazie Nvidia.

Che per carità vanno da dio, ma a sto punto se portano Chrono cross, potrebbero riesumare anche xeno e Vs. In ogni caso un passo alla volta e se portano tutti, posso pensionate psp
 
una remaster alla ff9 sarebbe bellissima, magari migliorano un po' gli sfondi, altrimenti ci penseranno le mod, stiamo parlando di sfondi 2d veramente stupendi.
 
Spero che sia principalmente sotto l'ala di Sony, così non esce immondizia.
 
Paradossalmente Cross è quello che potrebbe giovare di più da un Remake. Aveva idee interessanti ma la riuscita finale non fu perfettamente a fuoco, rispetto ad un Trigger. Quest'ultimo lo si può tranquillamente giocare oggi e passerebbe per un indie di Cristo comunque :asd:

Chrono Trigger rimane un gioco incredibile anche oggi, altrochè :asd:
 
Per remaster si intendono quelle versioni tipo FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX avute su PS4 con sfondi sfocatissimi? :asd: No grazie oltretutto non sarà nemmeno in ita.
 
Io ho il classico PS1 presente sullo store USA, ma se portano questo, tanto meglio per me :unsisi:
