Questa è una cosa che ho scoperto di prima mano...

It is possible to obtain 20,000 Moolah before Stranger is ready for his surgery "to survive". However, this does not affect the game in anyway, still having to capture 4 Outlaws in each area.

Jojo reference, ancora, letteralmente

One of Blackmore's poses is likely based on Narancia Ghirga, Guido Mista and Pannacotta Fugo's "Torture Dance" from the manga/anime series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Saltare, no?

Questo è un easter egg piuttosto conosciuto :gogogo:

There is a code that can be entered at the very beginning of the game to access a secret recreated level from the original Prince of Persia game.

Il poster al epoca lo avevo notato^^

In the level "Blood Bath Bay" is a poster that says "Dev & Karin wedding Aug 05". This presumably refers to Dev Madan and Karin Yamagiwa Madan, two Sucker Punch developers who got married during the creation of the game.

Per tutti gli appassionati di fantascienza

In the final part of the game when playing with Ellen, she says "I'm an engineer, not a brain surgeon." This is thought to be a reference to Dr. McCoy from Star Trek who would often say "I'm a doctor, not a ____" . Harlan Elisson, one of the game's designers, also sold scripts to many television shows. One of them was Star Trek.

La realtà supera sempre la fantasia. SEMPRE

Lead Designer Justin Knorr, frustrated with all the cuts being made to get the game to ship, put a series of hidden messages for players to find. The first messages told the player how to access a secret level select screen, and encouraged them to pick a specific level, in which he placed more messages berating the company for cutting so much content. He included the head of product development's phone number, and suggested players call it and complain. The playtesters found these messages, and Justin was fired.

In the bottom right of the tower in Sable Izolle is a set of wigs. These wigs appear to reference past "Tales of" characters. From left to right, they resemble Cress Alvein (Tales of Phantasia), Senel Coolidge (Tales of Legendia), Reid Hershel (Tales of Eternia), and Veigue Lungberg (Tales of Rebirth).

Retroscena di quelli belli

The game was published in Europe by THQ instead of Nintendo of Europe due to the latter believing that localizing it in Europe wouldn't be commercially viable. In a statement, Nintendo of Europe said: "Nintendo of Europe decided against publishing the game following a full commercial appraisal. It is the policy of Nintendo of Europe to translate our games into the native language of the region where it will be released and due to its text-heavy content, the cost of localising Conker's Bad Fur Day would not be commercially viable."

Problematiche come queste sono ormai "superate" grazie a patch ed altro ma sono sempre interessanti da rivedere

In the Japanese release of the game, the game's packaging accommodates every disc with it's own slot. However in the European and North American release of the game, the fourth disc is just put in a nub above the instruction manual. This has caused some criticism of Microsoft because it's very easy to cause scratches to the fourth disc.

La sua vera identità è...

In the NES version of Bomberman, if players complete the 50th level it'll reveal Bomberman's true identity to be Lode Runner. Bombermen also appear as the enemy robots in the NES port of Lode Runner which was developed by Hudson Soft.

Promozioni d'altri tempi

McDonald's once sold demo discs of PaRappa the Rapper 2 and Ape Escape 2001 to promote the games in Japan. The demo took place in the first level, except with a McDonald's theme.

Una bel retroscena musicale :geddoe:

Q4EfGUK.jpg

Ed Annunziata, the game's head designer, stated that Pink Floyd served as a major inspiration to the game's music. The song "Echoes" may be the origin for the protagonist's, and one of the game's final levels, "Welcome To The Machine", may be a reference to the Pink Floyd song of the same name.
