In the Kitchen of Max's house, there is a bright white picture hanging on the wall opposite to the Kitchen door with the words "Dark Chronicle" written on it. Dark Chronicle is the original name of the game and the one used for its Japanese and European releases. In North America and South Korea however, the game was released as "Dark Cloud 2".

"奎良", the localized Chinese name of Sub-Zero, going by the first name-last name standard (the second character represents the person's first name), can be translated as "Liáng Kuí". 良 Liáng ("good") is a rare surname in the Sinophone region. The alternative Chinese characters for his name Kuai Liang are "快涼" (WG: K'uai4 Liang2; PY: Kuài Liáng), literally meaning "Fast and cool"; additionally, "涼快" means "cool".

The PAL release of the game was titled Digimon World 2003, possibly due to Digimon World 2 never receiving a PAL release. However, in these copies of the game, the game continues after the player has defeated the final boss, whereas the North American version of the game simply ends.

In the German version, a number of content in-game had been censored and altered: •The less blood is seen. The pipe, for example, won't be stained with blood after hitting an enemy. •Wounds on enemy corpses were removed. •Telekenesis can't be used to pick up enemy corpses. •Some hacksaws and blades were removed from corpses. •The intro sequence was completely redone, just consisting of a series of in-game cutscenes.

Riferimenti a Metroid Dread in Metroid Prime 3:

Metroid project "Dread" was a Space Pirate project involving Metroids. It is mentioned in a scan in the Metroid Processing room on the Space Pirate Homeworld in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The scan states that this project aimed to convert Metroids into power sources for weapons, presumably using energy they absorbed from other organisms. The adjacent scan terminal, however, states that the project had failed.
The project's name seemingly refers to Metroid Dread, a game formerly thought to be lost. Many believed that the scans hinted that Dread was in development but eventually cancelled. Retro Studios stated that there was no connection with the rumored game, and Nintendo said that they were "not making the 2-D title at this point in time." Mike Wikan, a senior designer for Corruption, later admitted that the Dread reference was a joke. In the Japanese version of the game, the scan referring to Metroid project "Dread" has been removed, and it now mentions a Dread-Class Turret.

Censure

9CzzrF1.jpg

One of the enemies in the game was censored in the European release and all Dreamcast versions due to looking like a stereotypical Mexican bandito. They censored the character by turning his hair blond, giving him a white hat, and changing his clothing. However, the character remains uncensored in the American Playstation release or any of the Nintendo 64 versions.
