Trick famosissimo

A glitch in the original release of the first game allows the player to quickly defeat Yellow Devil by shooting it with the Thunder Beam and repeatedly tapping the pause button when it makes contact. Every time pause is toggled it will register a hit. This actually works with any boss, and even the player, as it really is just the invincibility counter still expiring while the game is paused. A similar glitch can be performed to dodge Boobeam Trap's attack with the weapon select menu in Mega Man 2.

In Mandala Temple, there is a group of six orb-like structures. The top-right orb, when examined, makes a reference to the game show Jeopardy!.

Why the PS3 never got localized is often subjected to this, especially depending on who you asked. Sometimes the creators would say they couldn't get the voice cast to return (which is odd given that the voice actors seemed to be on board for doing so), other times they would say it was because the game didn't sell well enough to justify doing so. The most common one was that the Microsoft had a exclusivity deal preventing them from releasing it from the west. Regardless of why, it took several years for the PS3 content to arrive overseas.

Disastro

The main Battle Network games made for Game Boy Advance were produced with low-capacity 8MB cartridgesnote and most entries use every bit of that ROM space, to the extent that one of the reasons that Battle Network 4 changed the art style was to use less data on overworld sprites. This caused problems in localization since the English scripts needed to be injected on top of everything else, forcing cuts and modifications to at least four of the six mainline games. Battle Network 2 and Battle Network 3 merely had aesthetic changes, with the former featuring a simplified jack-in animation and the latter losing the jack-in animation altogether. While the steps taken to free up space worked for Battle Network 4, Capcom's international branches were forced to remove or simplify actual gameplay elements of Battle Network 5 and Battle Network 6.

One of a kind

This is the only game in the series to make extensive use of traditional background music. Previous games in the series relied on ambiences, only playing a few musical stings when a particular event occured. Angel of Darkness introduced background music to a few levels, but mostly kept it off. After Legend, Anniversary returned to the concept of ambiences punctuated by stings, and Underworld mixed the two together. The 2013 reboot does the same thing.

The game's six original Robot Masters were all designed by Comic BomBom Rockman mangakas: Hitoshi Ariga made Burner Man and Dynamo Man, Yoshihiro Iwamoto made Ground Man and Magic Man, and Kōji Izuki (who created a Mega Man 8 manga) made Cold Man and Pirate Man.

Parakarry is the only reoccurring partner throughout the entire series by far. Rather if it's making a cameo or being mentioned.

Censure...

All of the religious symbolism in the game was either replaced (such as the cross boss and the grave at the end of the game) or removed (such as the alter in the church). Strangely, even though the alter was removed and the church was turned into a long hallway, the church music still plays, and the candles from the alter are now floating.

Darksiders II is the first and (so far) only game in the Darksiders series to not have any reuse/repeat bosses (not counting The Noss as they are considered as Mini-Bosses), as in no boss gets re-fought in the game after words,

Genesi :uhmsisi:

According to Akira Ushizawa in a 1998 interview published in volume 122 of Gamest magazine, he was asked where the idea of all of the game's fighters being summoned through a time machine to fight each other came from, and he responded: "It was when we were first working on the planning, and thinking of stages for each character. We wanted those stages to have a lot of individual personality, and someone suggested the idea of setting the stages in different eras."

Falcom published books under the alias A. Christin. This is a reference to Adol Christin from the Ys series, as well as her character design being modeled after said character. Blanc is also a big fan of her books. This is likely a reference to how many Falcom games were on Nintendo consoles.
