Quite a few of the characters have backstories that have never been elaborated on in any of the games, such as Frei and Lyseria. According to the developers, Lyseria was born around the creation of the world and at one point was even involved in Jayle's backstory, but this was never discussed in-game and Lyseria only ever appeared in the first game.

Secret Talk

In areas where non-playable party members are walking around independent of Sora (i.e. the Bamboo Grove for instance), if the player looks at both Donald and Goofy from a distance they will sometimes walk toward each other and have a silent conversation. If Sora gets closer and approaches them, then they stop and focus their attention on him instead.

When selecting a Robot Master, if you press and hold the A button, the stars in the background of the intro screen will turn into Pipis. This is just aesthetic as it only changes the intro screen and nothing else.

A link to the Future!

Concept Art for A Link to the Past shows Zelda in futuristic attire. The original Legend of Zelda was planned to be set in both the past and the future. This art could be an indication that Nintendo considered reusing the concept for A Link to the Past.

An old grudge

During a random conversation between Palutena and Pit when he is wielding a Bow, Pit mentions that a bow was handy in his last "Brawl", to which Palutena will say that she's glad it wasn't a "Melee", which Pit remarks he was never a part of. This is a reference to his debut in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and when he was considered to being put in Super Smash Bros. Melee, but ultimately was not chosen in favor of the Ice Climbers.

Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code is the 5th version of Melty Blood, a fighting game series based off Type Moon's visual novel Tsukihime developed by French Bread. It was originally released in arcades on July 29, 2010. A PC version was originally made available as part of the blu-ray release of Carnival Phantasm Season 3. It wasn't until April 20, 2016 that the game got a worldwide release on Steam by Arc System Works.

Elvira II: The Jaws of Cerberus is the second game in the Elvira series of horror adventure/role-playing video games. It was developed by Horror Soft and published by Accolade in 1992. The game is a sequel to 1990's Elvira: Mistress of the Dark. It was followed by Waxworks, which can be considered its spiritual sequel.
