Missing Chapter :ahsisi:

VzNbdEU.jpg

Discounting the "continuation" as Mega Man & Bass and following remakes, this is the only numbered game in the series which wasn't released originally on any Nintendo console. Instead, it was released for Sony's PlayStation and the Sega Saturn. It wasn't until Mega Man Anniversary Collection that the game was featured in any Nintendo console, that one being the GameCube.

Missing meaning :sadfrog:

Yjlrutr.jpg

Redemption's original title, "Aruku You na Hayasa de" ("At A Walking Pace"), was changed to "Redemption" to fit the "Re-" format of the other American titles. It was the only game title to retain none of its original meaning. The title "At a Walking Pace" is given to the second-to-last special in-game cutscene viewable in the game's Movie Player.

Ieri il post su G.U mi si era "perso" mentre sistemavo i topic, per quanto invece riguarda oggi...

Simboli

On the game's cover is a motif of a girl in a dress, presumably Jennifer. She is surrounded by a butterfly (a motif to the butterflies in the game), a bird (likely Eleanor's Bird), a rabbit (likely Peter) and a dog (likely Brown) tied with some sort of rope or vine, something which occurs in the game.

Un pessimo lavoro:bah:

While the North American localization team corrected some glitches from the Japanese version, it also added an infamous Game-Breaking Bug during a late-game boss fight. Also, a good amount of Japanese audio files were removed due to the lack of space.

Cosette is one of the most dangerous Engineers as she is able (as an engineer elite) to launch 3 attacks at once. (one default, second with double attack (engineer elite potential) and the 3rd with beautiful world). Equipped with the proper weapon, her combat abilities can surpass those of Scouts as well.

Lack of explanations :bah:

rlpGUPm.jpg

Legend of Legacy gives you incredibly vague instructions, best summed up by the King's order of "Go explore something!". The storyline is negligible, so there are no hints has to where you should be going...meaning that you might turn up in a late-game area fairly early on, and waste time trying to figure out how to progress the story, unaware that you can't yet. NPCs won't appear in an area until you've cleared it, so they're useless in terms of guidance. Even the crucial mechanic of the Singing/Whispering Shards (Whispering Shards are useless if you don't have the corresponding Singing Shard) is explained in less-than-concrete terms.

Cinque Transformers sono meglio di uno. :sisi:

It was the first video game about the famous Autobots, which are fight against the Decepticons. In this game the player controls one of the five Autobots: Optimus Prime, Hound, Jazz, Mirage and Bumblebee. These Deceptions are in this game: Megatron, Soundwave, Starscream, Buzzsaw, Skywarp, Laserbeak, Ravage, Frenzy and Rumble.

Extra content:iwanzw:

When the game was initially released, it was received with negative press, as many Japanese players found it too buggy. In 2004, a director's cut was released in which they fixed several bugs, as well as adding new features and two additional characters. The director's cut was the same as the copy released in North America and the PAL regions. This is why the back of the North American case states extra features.

Un po' di storia :eee:

dRN1g0Z.jpg

According to the game's writer, Bingo Morihashi, Lady was originally envisioned as an older seasoned demon hunter. However, Hideaki Itsuno rejected the idea in favor of an idea that would resonate with Japanese audiences. "We originally planned to have her be older than Dante; that's how I would have liked it. (laughs) But Itsuno-san said, "No way." (laughs) He wanted a character that would go over well with the Japanese audience. My original proposal was a cigarette-smoking demon hunter who could act like a mentor to Dante, but Itsuno-san's response was, "No way. The only way she'll be popular with the Japanese audience is if she looks like a high-schooler." I had no choice, so I agreed to make the change. Trish already felt older than Dante, and the Dante in "DMC 3" is much younger, so it was decided that Lady should be slightly younger than Dante. Her appearance was up in the air for much of development, so I ended up writing her without a clear visual in mind. All we knew from the start was that she'd have black hair. Trish was blonde and Lucia was a redhead, so this almost Scandinavian-looking European should definitely have black hair; that's what the team decided on. Because what the Japanese audience definitely didn't want was more blondes or swarthy girls. The whole team agreed that "DMC 3" was a game made for the Japanese. We were happy to worry about the rest of the world later, because first and foremost, we - the creators - would have been in a bad place if the game wasn't a hit in Japan. Sure, we could have moved millions of units overseas and only tens of thousands in Japan, but focusing on the numbers like that and aiming for foreign sales would have been abandoning the Japanese fans who had supported us this whole time. That was the thought process, so we buckled down and concentrated on making a game that would do well in Japan. Vergil's katana and sword-draw techniques were also nods to the Japanese fans; we figured that most foreigners probably wouldn't understand that sleek, simple aesthetic. Lady's black hair, too. It wasn't easy. but we appealed to the audience we were aiming for."

Uncredited role for you :iwanzw:

Like most Atlus-localized games, the English voice cast is largely uncredited. While speculative, some roles guessed include Spike Spencer as Milanor, Bridget Hoffman as Yggdra, Liam O'Brien as Durant, Tara Platt as Aegina, Luciana and Emelone, Troy Baker as Gulcasa and Mizer, Karen Strassman as Elena and Flone, Kate Higgins as Rosary and Mistel, Vic Mignogna as Russell and Nessiah, Stephanie Sheh as Nietzsche, Patrick Seitz as Leon, Yuri Lowenthal as Roswell and Gordon, Wendee Lee as Zilva, Julie Ann Taylor as Emilia, Michelle Ruff as Kylier, Laura Bailey as Pamela, Kirk Thornton as Ortega, Michael McConnohie as Bly and Dort and other roles not accounted for.

A slightly different story :hmm:

JtB10Fz.jpg

The game was originally planned to have a slightly different story, however the writer, Yu Godai, was forced to abandon the work due to illness and Atlus where left with trying to finish up the story on their own. Yu would continue the story after she recovered, however, which led to the Quantum Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner novels.

During Season 3 of the Arena sidequest, the final boss is a giant Muruk that flies into the arena while spinning very fast with flames shooting out of its shell. This is most likely a reference to Gamera, from the films of the same name, who is a giant monster turtle that flies in a similar fashion.

Remix :megahype:

Margaret Moonlight's theme, "Philistine" plays normally in the American version of No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. However, in the Japanese and European version of the game, a remixed version of the song plays during the boss battle.

Magari i glitch fossero solo questi^^

In all non-english PAL versions of the game, the player cannot access the Ogre Fortress or use the Mt. Infinity teleporters. Because of this, these copies of the game can not be beaten.
