Un porting di Wonder Boy:

Adventure Island

The game started out as a port of the arcade game Wonder Boy. Although Escape had the rights to the game, Sega owned the rights to the main characters, bosses, and names, which meant that the NES version could not be a direct port. To get around the licensing issue, Hudson Soft changed the character sprites and names to create a brand new series.

The Team Aqua/Magma Leader Battle theme music featured in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald is based on the Shionchou boss battle theme music from Game Freak's Super Famicom game Bushi Seiryūden: Futari no Yūsha. The themes were written by both games' composer and Game Freak co-founder Junichi Masuda.

Pac-Man World 2

Through the use of Action Replay codes, it's possible to die on the Level Select map. When this happens, Pac-Man will respawn on the game's title screen; moving around will reveal a stool and fishing rod off-screen, suggesting that he was originally planned to fish on the title screen instead of just standing and playing idle animations.

On page 41 of the instruction booklet is a sentence that mentions an attack called "SELF REVIVE". This attack does not exist in any Pokémon game.

There is a frog named Cuisses who appears as a main character's pet. "Cuisses" is the French word for "thigh," but in a culinary context it is understood to refer to "Cuisses de grenouille" or "Frog Legs."

Mega Man Zero

Mega Man X was initially planned to be the villain of the series instead of Copy X, but due to the release of Mega Man X6, the idea was omitted.

Differenze

In the original Wii version of the game, there was a mechanic where defeated enemies would retain their collision for about 25 frames, a window lasting a fraction of a second. In cooperative play, this allowed for a second player to trail behind and quickly use defeated enemies as a platform, allowing for two players to traverse platforming sections without one or the other frequently dying by falling into a pit. However, for unknown reasons, this mechanic was removed in the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch versions of the game, making the multiplayer gameplay more difficult and unfair in certain sections.

Zurvan:

Prince of Persia The Two Thrones

Zurvan, the name that the Vizier takes for himself, is the god of time for the ancient Persians. He was also a neutral god since his twin sons were the personification of good and evil. His sons were Ormazd and Ahriman, which are the deities found in Prince of Persia (2008).

In Sootopolis City, a little girl named Kiri will give the player two berries every day they talk to her. Her name comes from Junichi Masuda's daughter, Kiri, who was born around the same time as the Japanese release of Ruby and Sapphire.

The English version of the DS-remakewas stripped of the "party-talk," feature. A mechanic in which selecting the "talk," button when there was no one to talk to would instead make the current party members talk to each other, revealing hints and much needed characterization. Given that one of the major flaws of the original game was that each character's personality disappeared once they joined your party in Chapter 5, this feature was considered very welcome indeed.

Messaggio nascosto:

Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced

In the level, "Wild Nile Ride", there is a hidden message hidden underneath the floor directly before the second Checkpoint crate; while impossible to view without a graphical viewer tool, the Prima Official Strategy Guide features it.

The message reads, "TATTA" with a Vicarious Visions logo and a crude smiley face.

Star Force 2 has various regional differences. The Japanese version features a few lines of voice acting, and contains a "profile" section on the My Page screen, which allows the player to enter personal information, such as favorite food and favorite TV show. There is also an ability called "HumorWrd" which is similar to the Humor program from the Battle Network games. This was removed from international versions most likely because many of the jokes are related to the removed Profile section.

The song used in the Japanese commercials for the game is a remix of an infamous song used in the Japanese A Link to the Past commercials.

When visiting Wrinkly Kong's Save Cave, she can be seen playing a Nintendo 64, and "Inside the Castle Wall" (Peach's Castle Theme) plays on the background. It can be assumed that she's playing Super Mario 64.

The game's Japanese release made use of the Game Boy Advance E-Reader, but the feature was removed in the international release due to the lack of the device's popularity. In the Japanese release, the Request BBS required the use of E-cards and it was possible to obtain Gregar and Falzar battle chips. In the international release, not only is it impossible to obtain these without hacking, but they were broken, causing them to crash the game if used.

Wario's Woods

The game was the last NES game to be released in the US on December 10, 1994. Because of the release date, it's also the only NES game to receive an official ESRB rating, being "K-A" (Kids to Adults).
