Dr. Stone Manga Has 'Important Announcement' on November 19

This year's 50th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that the magazine's 51st issue will have an "important announcement" for Riichirou Inagaki and Boichi's Dr. Stone manga in the magazine's next issue on November 19. The manga will also enter a new arc with the 51st issue.

Dr. Stone Manga Gets TV Anime Starring Yūsuke Kobayashi in Summer 2019

This year's 51st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that Riichirou Inagaki and Boichi's Dr. Stone manga will get a television anime adaptation that will premiere in July 2019. Yūsuke Kobayashi will star in the anime as Senku.

The magazine's previous issue hinted at an "important announcement" for the manga in this week's issue. Inagaki and Kobayashi will attend a stage presentation at the Jump Festa '19 event in December that will reveal more information about the anime.

Come ti è sembrato il rpimo volume?' a livello di disegni è tantissima roba. :hail:  , tra lui e murata non so chi è migliore sinceramente.

se intendevi stone, come detto non ho ancora avuto modo di leggerlo e approfitterò del secondo per fare una lettura sostanziosa  

se parliamo di origin mi piace molto, ed è il primo lavoro di boichi che ho toccato. 

concordo che loro due siano, se non i migliori, nei primi, pur con le loro differenze (se murata evolve lo stile classico dello shonen giappo, boichi da proprio tratti asiatici ai suoi personaggi, in un certo senso è più tendente al realistico. grandissimi entrambi, ovviamente)

non ho resistito altre due settimane e mi sono letto tutto di un fiato il primo volume di dr stone

ottimo su ogni caratteristica. buona l'idea alla base e come sia spiegata il giusto senza dedicarci troppo tempo, ancora più interessanti i primi sviluppi con i due protagonisti.

lo stile rispecchia boichi, lo riconosceresti sempre, ma, avendo letto un po' origin, e informatomi un po' su sun ken rock e altri suoi manga, non mi sarei aspettato certe facce nelle gag

non posso che attendere il secondo volume  :tragic:

Dr. Stone Anime Reveals Promo Video, Teaser Visual, 3 New Cast Members

A stage presentation at the Jump Festa '19 event on Saturday revealed a promotional video, teaser visual, and three new cast members on Saturday for the television anime adaptation of Riichirou Inagaki and Boichi's Dr. Stone manga.

The new cast members include:

Makoto Furukawa (One-Punch Man's Saitama) as Senku's Taiju Ōki

Kana Ichinose as Yuzuriha Ogawa (left) and Yūichi Nakamura as Tsukasa Shishio (right)

The anime will premiere in July 2019. Yūsuke Kobayashi will star in the anime as Senku.

Dr. Stone Manga Gets Novel on February 4

Shueisha's website for its Jump j Books imprint listed on Tuesday that it will release Ichio Morimoto's Dr. Stone Hoshi no Yume, Chi no Uta (Dr. Stone Star's Dream, Earth's Song) novel based on Riichirou Inagaki and Boichi's Dr. Stone manga on February 4.

One of the novel's stories takes place before the event that petrified humanity. It follows Senku during his high school days and centers on the science club's strategy to launch a rocket. Another story takes place after the human petrification and follows Chrome, Kohaku, and Suica. The three form a musical band and perform with handmade instruments. The book will also include special illustrations.

This year's 10th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine announced on Monday that Boichi's Originmanga will end in the next issue on Saturday.

The story takes place in 2048, at a time when Japan is connected to Eurasia via a transcontinental railroad. Tokyo has become a hotbed of terrorism and crime, and mysterious beings attack people night after night. The manga follows Origin, a robot who hunts these beings.

Shinya Iino (storyboards, episode director on Hanebad!, Revue Starlight, Made in Abyss) is directing the anime. Yuichiro Kido (episode scripts for Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga, After the Rain, 91 Days) is in charge of series composition. Yuko Iwasa (Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, Yowamushi Pedal) is designing the characters. Tatsuya Katō(WorldEnd, Revue Starlight), Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Children of the Whales, Anima Yell!), and Yuki Kanesaka (Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyondinsert songs) are composing the music.

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Riichirou Inagaki and Boichi's Dr. Stone manga began streaming two new teaser videos for the anime on Friday. The videos preview Yuki Kanesaka's song "Chemical Boys."
