Ambizioso, originale, oscuro: per alcuni, uno dei film dell’anno.
L’orlo argenteo delle nuvole (Silver Linings Playbook) - David O. Russell: il nuovo film del regista di The Fighter è stato accolto molto bene. Le recensioni, tutte positive, lodano soprattutto le interpretazioni di Bradley Cooper e Jennifer Lawrence. Collider (B) nota come si tratti di un “crowd-pleaser” che intrattiene e non insulta lo spettatore. The Playlist (A) scrive che il film ha un gran cuore ed è esilarante. Roba seria per gli Oscar, insomma.
The Place Beyond the Pines - Derek Cianfrance: non nascondiamo che è uno dei titoli che attendevamo di più (già a Cannes e a Venezia). Abbiamo amato Blue Valentine, e il fatto che Cianfrance tornasse a lavorare con Ryan Gosling non poteva che farci felici. Il film pare non aver deluso le aspettative. Per Joblo (9/10) “sovverte le aspettative del pubblico” ed è “incredibile”; per Collider (9.2/10) ha una narrazione meravigliosa; più freddo l’Hollywood Reporter, che però segnala l’interpretazione di Gosling. In brodo di giuggiole The Playlist (A) IMDB: 8 Rotten:100%
Quartet - Dustin Hoffman: l’esordio alla regia del grande attore, con protagonisti quattro ex-cantanti d’opera, è stato accolto in modo piuttosto positivo. Per il Guardian (3/5) è una “lettera d’amore” a cui si perdonano alcune “falsità”. Per l’Hollywood Reporter è un film “di classe”.
Seven Psychopaths - Martin McDonagh: ottima l’accoglienza per il nuovo lavoro del regista di In Bruges. 15 recensioni su 15 su RT sono positive, con una media di 8.5. Tra gli estasiati, segnaliamo indieWIRE (A-): “una gloriosa e assurda satira del processo di scrittura”. Voci fuori dal coro: Variey (6/10), secondo cui non regge il confronto con il film precedente, e The Playlist (C: “troppo lungo”).

Waltz non ci sarà, la pubblicità di Weinstein punta tutto su di caprio vedrai,ma poi quest'anno non credo se la sentiranno di escluderlo di nuovo

sinceramente sarebbe un errore nn candidare phoenix , forse è l'unico che quest'anno potrebbe tenere testa a daniel day lewis , se nn viene candidato tra i 5 penso che sarà a causa di quella dichiarazione che fece tempo fa...ho visto che phoenix è al secondo posto per ora tra nomination e premi vinti dai vari awards al primo ovviamente lewis....cmq sarei contento di una candidatura di caprio anzi spero lo vinca questo benedetto oscar che aspetta da anni //content.invisioncic.com/a283374/emoticons/smile.png
