Update di luglio bello grande visto che è un po' che non postavo nel topic cominciato finalmente YS8 che per ora è buono ma niente di eccezionale e mi hanno prestato Nier Replicant.
Finalmente sono riuscito a completare un gioco degli Zeboyd. Cosmic Star Heroine è un gioco grezzo in alcuni aspetti, ma come RPG e avventua sci-fi fa il suo lavoro dignitosamente.

9 Monkeys of Shaolin è un picchiaduro a scorrimento, fortunatamente non in pixel art (che è abusata a mio parere). L'ho apprezzato molto devo dire, soprattutto perché mano a mano che giochi sblocchi varie tecniche e quindi i combattimenti diventano più vari. C'è la demo sul Playstation Store, provatela!
Memories of Celceta non sarà all'altezza di Lacrimosa of Dana ma rimane comunque un buon gioco grazie ai combattimenti frenetici e all'esplorazione. Graficamente è bruttino ma eh, sorvoliamo. Trama carina e belle musiche anche.

Sono arrivato al boss finale di Mario + Rabbids ma all'improvviso per qualche ragione mi è passata la voglia, a prescindere che arrivi al filmatino finale il mio giudizio non cambierà, è un discreto tattico, spensierato quanto può essere spensierato un gioco di questo genere, che se preso non troppo sul serio e senza aspettarsi la perfezione sa offrire un numero più che sufficiente di ore piacevoli. Graficamente è delizioso e il connubio fra il regno dei funghi e i rabbids insensatamente riuscito, peccato per certe spigolosità abbastanza grossolane nelle animazioni e soprattutto per i glitch che in rari ma spettacolari casi possono prendere il sopravvento – la boss battle nel teatro è stata un delirio, oggetti a caso che apparivano dal nulla e sparivano nel giro di qualche frazione di secondo, compenetrazioni violentissime etc. etc. Purtroppo c'è una superficialità in certi dettagli che tradiscono il fatto che questo non è effettivamente un titolo Nintendo. Comunque nulla di imperdonabile, anzi sinceramente nel complesso è quasi miracoloso considerando che è stato sviluppato in Italia. Ci sono ampi margini di miglioramento ma la base è già buona, spero il meglio per il futuro dello studio – e del settore tutto. Se lo trovate a buon prezzo e il genere vi stuzzica dategli una possibilità.

Completato Rayman Legends.
L'ho finalmente giocato dopo averlo tenuto nel backlog della switch per anni
Ho completato il gioco al 100%, si tratta di un buon gioco, ma siamo anni luce lontani dalla goduria dei platform 2D che hanno settato la barra altissima negli ultimi anni, giochi come DKC Returns e Tropical Freeze o Super Meat Boy. Rayman Legends, mi è piaciuto tantissimo per quanto riguarda gli extra tipo i livelli musicali, time attack e le ultime fasi per arrivare al 100%, ma secondo me risulta debole nel core del gioco. Il gioco inizia ad essere interessante solo dopo i titoli di coda.
Lo so che è un gioco vecchio ma alla fine ho ceduto a rayman :sadfrog: hai fatto bene perché rimane ancora ad oggi uno dei migliori platform in circolazione, anche su switch

Xenon Racer è carino tutto sommato. Per quel che l'ho pagato (1,49€) non mi posso lamentare. Ho fatto tutto quello che potevo offline, carriera e via dicendo, può bastare così.
Fenyx Rising è stato una bella sorpresa dai. Fa piacere vedere un gioco che non si prende troppo su serio. Alla fine però mi è un po' passata la voglia di fare le varie cose secondarie e quindi l'ho finito e basta.
Dicey dungeons è un folle esperimento incredibilmente riuscito – la paradossale definizione di skill-based dice game è azzeccatissima, e il bilanciamento che si viene a creare fra la gestione tattica e la pervasiva generazione casuale degli eventi è sorprendentemente sensata. Può regalare tante tante ore di divertimento, ma forse mi aspettavo qualcosina di più in termini di varietà: trattandosi di un rougue-like, ho trovato che oggetti e avversari tendessero a ripetersi un po' troppo spesso, e sul lungo periodo si perde un po' di freschezza. Pecca di eccessiva ripetitività anche la colonna sonora, che per quanto ottima in termini di qualità offre un numero di brani davvero troppo ridotto, così che quei pochi, per quanto buoni, finiscono per stancare prima di quanto non meritassero. Note di merito per lo stile grafico e la scrittura deliziosi.
Ho preso Star Fox 64 con l'idea di giocarmelo durante le ferie, e devo dire che la scelta è stata azzeccata. Poco da dire sul gioco che non sia già stato detto e ripetuto – personalmente non sono un grande amante del genere, ma si capisce cosa lo renda un titolo tanto amato. Nella sua semplicità, dopo un quarto di secolo riesce ancora ad apparire fresco e stimolante. La sua formula a bivi è geniale, ed esalta tanto la fruibilità quanto la profondità dell'esperienza tutta. Nota di merito anche per la pulizia dell'operazione di remake (corretta la scelta di non andare a intaccare ciò che era già perfetto così com'era) e per l'aggiunta della portabilità.
Mini metro è un gioco che suppongo prima o poi avrebbe inevitabilmente dovuto esistere. Impeccabile semplicità tanto nella presentazione quanto nelle meccaniche. Assuefacente e a suo modo definitivo.

Un ottimo remake. Sicuramente dal punto di vista ludico non aggiunge contenuti al gioco originale ma le facilitazioni QoL sono da rimarcare assolutamente. Il titolo di per se si porta dietro gli stessi difetti del gioco originale (poca varietà d'ambientazioni, level design scarsino nella metà dei livelli, pochi segreti in generale). Sul versante "remake" il lavoro di BP è da 10 pieno, ma valutando il complesso non posso non andare sopra un bell'otto pieno. [8]

Un Monster Hunter abbastanza particolare. Sul piano del gameplay è senza ombra di dubbio il migliore mai realizzato ma purtroppo pecca sul piano contenutistico. Probabilmente è nato bene e cresciuto male con la pandemia. Per il resto è un grande Monster Hunter, 150 ore in compagnia. [9]
Ratchet & Clank
Un gioco discreto che purtroppo è ben lungi dai fasti del glorioso passato della saga. Derivativo e con poche idee di fondo, R&C PS5 è piuttosto un grande tributo a quella che è stata la saga. Gli steroidi grafici sicuramente hanno aiutato a rendere questo capitolo per molti indimenticabile, ma da fan ormai vetusto della saga mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. Platinato in 15 ore con una difficoltà abbastanza settata verso il basso. Comunque il suo sporco lavoro lo fa, diverte in larghi tratti. [7]

Ora sto giocando sempre a Super Mario 3D World per la componente di Bowser's Fury, poi riprendo in mano Dark Souls 2 per la platinum run. Devo provare anche Returnal e direi che fino a Metroid sono a posto.
Anche se presto verrà messo ai box per un paio di settimane causa free login a FF14
