Che dire...da una parte sono un fanboy di Kratos e non lo nascondo, e non vedo l'ora di vederlo tornare in pompa magna, dall'altra parte mi piacerebbe un nuovo filone della serie sulla mitologia di qualche altra popolazione...nordici? Egizi? Mitologia orientale? Le idee non mancano (e sono anche cazzute)...che dire, attendo con trepidazione //content.invisioncic.com/a283374/emoticons/Gab3.gif

 
I rumor favoriscono troppo il ritorno di Kratos... PURTROPPO!

La saga mi è piaciuta, ma direi che quando basta basta! E' giunta l' ora di sfornare una nuova IP, saga o capitolo singolo che sia. Basta coi GOW! Belli e tutto quello che volete, ma nel loro somigliarsi han dato tutto. Un ulteriore capitolo mi darebbe fastidio, ma purtroppo so che è quello che avremo all' E3.

Quoto. Dopo 2 capitoli si PS2, 2 su PSP e quello su PS3 siamo a quota 5. Un sesto gioco con Kratos non si può proprio sentire, voglio un nuovo pg e qualcosa di VERAMENTE diverso in termini di gameplay.

 
Ritorno di Kratos...ma per davvero?! Capisco non voler rinunciare a GoW ma:

1-E' e deve rimanere una cazz di trilogia! Che presa per il **** sarebbe sopratutto all'ideatore David Jaffe?

2-*** mio ero già stufo alla fine di Ghos of Sparta, GoW III alla fine (hype o altri motivi, bho) non è assolutamente il migliore della trilogia ne tanto meno la conclusione perfetta che doveva essere...il 4 sarà praticamente la prima vera cacca nella famiglia GoW se mai dovvesse venire alla luce!

3-Andare avanti con al saga usando altri personaggi fa schifo?

4-Creare giochi nuovi va ancora più schifo?

5-I veri fan di GoW pensabo lo comprerebbero? Come i veri fan di MGS non comprerebbero mai un MGS5 io credo che i veri fan del pelatone più incazzato dell'era videoludica contemporanea un eventuale GoW 4 lo boicotterebbero a prescindere //content.invisioncic.com/a283374/emoticons/sisi.gif O almeno mi piace credere così //content.invisioncic.com/a283374/emoticons/sisi.gif

Non c'è bisogno di un nuovo God of War, non c'è e non ci sarà mai più, nessuno vole più sentir parlare di Kratos, BASTA!!! Lasciatelo morire in pace senza violentarlo inutilemente dai!

Ci serve vedere che cavolo sapete fare oltre sangue, violenza e mitologia Greca!!!!

Overall, the position of Senior Combat Designer is expected to partner with the organization to:

Responsibilities:

• Assist, collaborate with and take direction from Lead Combat Designer and Game Director as needed on any the following: character and boss designs from concept to implementation completion, including character animation implementation and tuning, environmental character impact, special effects, sound effects, AI gameplay scenario layout and gameplay tuning, controller configuration, gameplay features, magic distribution, character balance and ramping.

• Work within the set standard for all character asset design, creation and in-game implementation within the production path as it relates to design, art and otherwise.

• Participate in required production related meetings and functions as needed. Attend and participate in combat-specific discussions concerning combat design and combat design issues.

• Must comprehend a working knowledge of the game production pipeline in order to communicate effectively with other team members.

• Must understand the relationship between gameplay elements within the level and the overall game and all of the ways the player can respond to each gameplay element.

Qualifications:

• Experience using a text-based scripting language to set-up character logic.

• Basic knowledge of scripting languages and code (e.g., XML, C++, PERL) is preferred but not required.

• Must be able to grasp and work with code-based proprietary tools to implement and troubleshoot assigned characters.

• Must have knowledge of competitive products and various gameplay genres, as well as a personal understanding of video game fun.

• Experience working with, developing or designing for a 1st and/or 3rd person shooter genre a plus.

• Experience working with, developing or designing vehicle combat in a game also a plus.

• Must possess quality written communication skills and the ability to convey abstract concepts. Ability to think logically with a strong level of attention to detail.

• Must be able to professionally communicate and work with other members of the game production team (both internally and externally).

• Must have excellent communication while still keeping the overall vision of the game in mind.

• At least 4 years in game development, with at least 2 years in Combat or Character Design (creative and technical) specific role.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

• Design and implement gameplay, taking direction from Level Lead and Game Director as needed on any the following: level design from concept to implementation to shippable completion, entity scripting and functionality, AI layout and all things gameplay-related. As needed, act as liaison between Lead and Junior Designers, in addition to driving or participating in any needed communication with other disciplines.

• Work within the set standard for all level asset creation within the production path as it relates to design, art and otherwise. Must comprehend a working knowledge of the game production pipeline in order to communicate effectively with other team members. Working knowledge of design systems in order to build levels in 3D space, place enemies, fully understand the relationship between gameplay elements within the level and the overall game and all the ways the player can respond to each gameplay element.

• Actively participate in and/or lead required production related meetings as needed. Attend and/or lead design-specific discussions concerning design reviews and design issues. Collaborate with Design Director, Leads and Design Manager during the product development cycle about creative and/or production related topics.

• Contribute, as needed, in all educational meetings for in-house staff on new technical issues and tools dealing with all design aspects - level building, entities, cameras, etc.

• Communicate thoroughly to insure good working relationships with the other Designers, Design Director, Game Director, Design Manager, Art Director, Lead Artist, Lead Programmer, Lead Animator, etc. Drive and follow the progress of owned areas of the game.

Qualifications:

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of Maya, engine tools and processes, or other 3D world building software. Fundamental knowledge of game design and ability to implement 3D environment building, entities, rough cameras, creating gameplay scenarios, using design system tools as needed.

Sony Santa Monica al lavoro su uno shooter in terza persona?

Altri rumor altro giro. Questa volta tocca a Sony Santa Monica che è stata dissezionata dall'investigatore videoludico Superannuation. Dalle indagini è emerso che il team di God of War sta cercando un combat designer e un level designer che abbiano esperienza con sparatutto in prima o terza persona, videogiochi open world e titoli di combattimento su quattro ruote.

A occhio insomma sembrerebbe il bando di Rage il che farebbe pensare a un titolo completamente nuovo o a un'improbabile trasformazione della serie God of War che farebbe arrabbiare Kratos. E nessuno di noi vuole far arrabbiare Kratos.
