Ecco nuove info sulla 5th Form di Haseo e altro...

Fanno riferimento ai 2 scan che ho postato ieri.

Haseo's 5th Form comes with an exclusive weapon: an eight-sectioned sword called the Gate of Uroboros. The eight sections in the whip-sword are representing the Eight Phases. However, this also comes with a drawback; once Haseo upgrades to the 5th form, he will lose the ability to use his past weapons Twin Blades, Great Sword, Scythe, and Dual Guns, leaving the whip-sword as the only weapon type available for him.Being a whip-sword, the Gate of Uroboros can change its shape in-between attacks. It starts by slashing with its long-sword mode on the 1st attack. Then on the 2nd attack, it changes to whip mode and does a sweeping attack. On the 3rd attack, the sections will separate and shoot bullets at enemies, which can also be mashed. And finally on the 4th attack, the sword will have gathered enough energy and Haseo will make a big downwards slashing attack.

Also, to compensate for losing the ability to use other weapons, the Gate of Uroboros is inhibited by powers from all of the Eight Phase Avatars, thus allowing Haseo to use the exclusive Eight Phase Arts. Although each of the arts is powerful on their own, they have different characteristics, so the player needs to distinguish their usages for optimum results. the Eight Phase Arts are as follows:

1st Phase: Skeith - The Terror of Death - Violent Decapitation

Changes the weapon to a scythe, and continuously slashes the enemy. Although it does not have any other special effects, it has high damage and easy to use which makes it appealing enough.

2nd Phase: Innis - The Mirage of Deceit - Flight of Deceit

A pair of lances will launch attacks from the sky. It has a special effect on flying enemies and will give negative stat effects on them.

3rd Phase: Magus - The Propagation - Sprout of Severity

The sword will change to another unique form, unleashing a whirlwind. Damage dealt will be absorbed to heal the user's HP.

4th Phase: Fidchell - The Prophet - Heaven's Decree: Asura & Mandala

Swings down a giant hammer, and blows away enemies in a wide range with the shockwave. It has a special effect on armoured enemies.

5th Phase: Gorre - The Machinator - Great Wheel of Fate

The weapon changes into Twin Blades, recklessly slashing the enemy. The damage itself is rather high and also has a special effect on flying enemies.

6th Phase: Macha - The Temptress - Fascinating Crimson Whirlwind

After doing a combo attack with claws on both hands, the user will then unleash a rose-like aura. Has a probability to inflict charm status to the enemy.

7th Phase - Tarvos - The Avenger - Jewel of Revenge

After doing a combo attack with a mace, the user spins the tip of the mace to deal multiple hits. It also has a special effect on armoured enemies.

8th Phase - Corbenik - The Rebirth - Judgment of the Evil God

Changes the weapon into an energy cannon to burn every enemy directly in front. This is a high-damage, long-range attack.

As you can see above, the Gate of Uroboros will change its shape based on the weapon of each Phase Avatars in those Arts. And Haseo's 5th form is also able to activate Double Skill Trigger by using one of the first four (1st~4th) Phase Arts, where afterwards the Double Trigger prompt will be available for the player to instantly connect with one of the latter four (5th~8th) Phase Arts.

A new enemy monster is also introduced in this batch. Named Shadow Calamity Begarta, this strong enemy can teleport by opening holes in the space. Haseo will have difficulty fighting this monster in his Xth form, so he will eventually have to upgrade to the 5th form.

Un video comparativo tra la versione PS2 originale e questo remaster. :mah:

A me personalmente sembra che, ok, i modelli siano ovviamente migliori, però le luci e i colori siano infinitamente peggiorati. :morristend:

Cioé, i colori sono solo meno vividi, il che vabbe son gusti ma a me non piace, ma le luci... sembra quasi abbiano messo un layer semitrasparente blu o giallo sulle scene così, a caso. E in quelle scene tipo a fine trailer in cui nell'originale c'erano delle luci particolari che rendevano tutto a tinte azzurre, pure l'effetto è molto meno bello...

Sono solo io a pensarla così?

#1. An Ally to Fight Alongside

Ovan has taken a different road from Haseo in the story up until now, but in Vol. 4, he will become an ally that fights alongside him.

#2. A New Form

Ovan’s left shoulder has changed into the shape of a third arm, and the color also went from sinister red to a gentle blue.

#3. Ovan’s Exclusive Weapon

Ovan’s existing Lost Weapon, “Coming Reincarnation,” has grown into out-of-spec twin guns known as the Lost Weapon, “Sousei Hirameku Oumagatoki.” Ovan is equipped with bayonets in each hand, each with a different form. In his left hand, he has the “Phoenix” (rifle-type) bayonet, and in his right hand, he has the “Qilin” (pistol-type) bayonet.

◆ Battle

#1. Attack with a New Weapon

While calmly walking around the battlefield, rapid-fire each bayonet in turn. Use attack actions suited to the always composed Ovan.

#2. Attack Using Ovan’s Third Arm

Mow down surrounding enemies with a wide ranging attack using Ovan’s bat wing-like third arm. The arm can transform to have huge, sharp claws, which can be used to cut through the enemies in front of you.

◆ Arts

#1. Neighbor of Truth

Ovan jumps and uses each bayonet in addition to the third arm on his left shoulder to fire a three-line blue shockwave. It is a powerful art that attacks a wide range. The shockwave even leaves engravings on the ground.

#2. Neighbor of Restriction

Covers the enemy in a dome-shaped energy, and a great number of third arms appear to skewer them. It is an art in which all enemies inside the dome receive damage.

This week's Famitsu magazine has delivered further revelation that Haseo and Ovan will be able to merge their Skeith and Corbenik avatars into Unison Skeith, that will be used in Avatar Battles against new enemies in Vol.4, such as Moralta. When merged under Unison Skeith, the left half of the body will be based on Corbenik's color and design. This totally reminds us of a certain Digimon produced from DNA digivolution.
For a refresher on how an Avatar Battle in .hack//G.U. looks like, it's a special boss battle with a 3D shooting action-like gameplay. The player controls Haseo's avatar Skeith, launching attacks on the enemy boss while avoiding their attacks. Once the boss' HP is depleted, the player will need to finish the battle by launching a Data Drain attack on them.

Slash Combo

Unison Skeith does a combo attack with his great scythe. Thanks to the Slash Wave unleashed from compressed energy, this main attack method of Skeith allows attacking the enemy from a bit farther range. At the end of the combo, the tip of the scythe will generate and unleash an energy chakram, which will deal a powerful blow.

Homing Laser

By holding the Square button, Unison Skeith will lock onto multiple enemies. Release the button to shoot lasers on all of them. There is no ammo limit, so this attack will feel very exhilarating when used to sweep a horde of enemies at once.

(By the way, this feature would remind us of Jehuty in the Zone Of the Enders series)

Stun Chance

Hitting the enemy with combo attacks will eventually cause them to stun, which gives the player a chance to deal massive damage. Dash with the X button to get close to the enemy, and respond to the O button prompt to quickly slash the stunned enemy!
