Teasing Master Takagi-san TV Anime's 2nd Season Reunites Director, Main Cast, Studio

The official website for the television anime of Sōichirō Yamamoto's Teasing Master Takagi-san (Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san) manga confirmed on Saturday that director Hiroaki Akagi is returning from the first season to helm the second season at Shin-Ei Animation. He thanked the fans for supporting the anime and making the second season possible. He asked fans to look forward to the second season which will have "slight tweaks." He also drew an illustration to commemorate the news of the new season:

Rie Takahashi and Yuuki Kaji, the voices of the titular character Takagi-san and Nishikata, respectively, confirmed that they are also returning for the second season.

Teasing Master Takagi-san's Sōichirō Yamamoto, Kamio Fukuchi Launch New Manga

The April issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Champion magazine revealed on Tuesday that Sōichirō Yamamoto and Kamio Fukuchi will launch their new manga series Kaijū no Tokage (The Monster Lizard) with two full chapters in the next issue on April 12. The magazine teases the story as centering on sisters who discover a mysterious egg.

The video confirms more cast and staff members, as well as the season's July premiere.

The official website for the television anime of Sōichirō Yamamoto's Teasing Master Takagi-san (Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san) manga revealed a teaser visual and the opening theme song for the second season, Teasing Master Takagi-san 2, on Wednesday. Yuiko Ōhara is returning to perform the song "Zero Centimeters."

The website also began streaming a music video for "Iwanai kedo ne," Ōhara's opening song from the first season.

Teasing Master Takagi-san TV Anime's 2nd Season Reveals New Promo Video, July 7 Premiere, More Cast

The official website for the television anime of Sōichirō Yamamoto's Teasing Master Takagi-san (Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san) manga began streaming a new promotional video for the second season, Teasing Master Takagi-san2, on Saturday. The video reveals that the show will debut on Tokyo MX on July 7 at 11:30 p.m., before later airing on AT-X, YTV, BS-NTV, and J:COM TV. The show will stream only on Netflix in Japan. The video also previews Yuiko Ōhara's opening theme song "Zero Centimeters."

The site also revealed a new main visual (above), and revealed two more cast members.

Aoi Yūki as Hōjō, Takagi-san's classmate, who is an adult-like person

Advance, Uchi no Oochopus) are the new writers. Aya Takano is returning to design the characters with sub-character designers Takuji Mogi and Natsuko Kondou. Mogi and Kondou are also reprising their chief animation director roles, but are joined this season by Takehiro Suwa and Takano. Hiroaki Tsutsumi is also returning to compose the music.

finita la prima stagione, si mantiene onesta fino alla fine  anche se un poco ripetitiva fortunatamente il formato stile corti non stanca mai seppur la scelta di quelli presenti nel singolo episodio abbiano spesso traccia di continuity

è in effetti quasi un more of the same, però per la struttura del tutto onestamente non mi dispiace, perchè al netto delle burle ai danni del povero nishikata, si percepisce la lenta evoluzione del rapporto tra i due, coerente con l'essere nonostante tutto, studenti delle medie

anche se, nell'episodio della gita, il sesto mi pare, c'è un "teaser" di pochi secondi su qualcuno adulto

Comunque sempre molto piacevole e rilassante da seguire. Direi che siamo grossomodo sui livelli della prima, se non meglio. La coppietta nuova nemmeno mi dispiace, meritano approfondimento secondo me
Il rapporto che lega T. e N. è davvero speciale, quel sottile equilibrio che tiene tutto insieme senza mai andare a rompere gli schemi è sicuramente la carta vincente

Teasing Master Takagi-san Manga Launches Crowdfunding for VR Anime

A crowdfunding campaign launched on the Makuake site to produce a virtual reality (VR) anime of Sōichirō Yamamoto's Teasing Master Takagi-san (Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san) manga on Monday. The crowdfunding campaign seeks to raise 15 million yen (about US$140,000) to produce a VR anime for the Oculus Quest platform. The campaign will run until October 10.

The anime will put players in the viewpoint of Nishikata, the manga's protagonist and target of Takagi's teasing. It will recreate notable scenes from the original manga and anime, and the Oculus Rift will allow players to join Takagi in going home from school or going to the beach.
