• The Wonder Woman game was rebooted in early 2024 and switched directors. It's now a more traditional action-adventure game. The game has already costed over $100 million. It's still years away from release (if it actually comes out). The game's future is in question.

• Monolith Productions spent from 2017 to 2021 developing a new IP. Warner wanted Monolith to develop games for their existing IP. The game got cancelled as a result, and the studio heads and directors left WB to form a new studio at EA (Cliffhanger Games)
• Gotham Knights started out as a live service game until those elements got dropped halfway through development.
• WB Montreal tried to pitch a Gotham Knights 1.5 and a Constantine game, but got rejected. A Flash game got scrapped after the 2023 movie bombed. Most senior leadership has left and they are now trying to pitch a Game of Thrones game.
• Warner's former gaming chief David Haddad was hard to work with because he didn't play videogames and often took months to answer questions.
• Avalanche is working on more content for Hogwarts Legacy, as well as a sequel.
• Rocksteady is working on a single-player Batman game, but it's still years away.
• Suicide Squad and Multiversus were supposed to bring revenue for Warner across 2025, but both games have now been shutdown.

Commandos: Origins is gearing up for digital release on April 9, 2025, and will be available on Steam, on day one with Xbox Game Pass for console and PC and on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

Magari non ufficialmente, ma se un gioco ha il DLSS puoi comunque provare a ''forzare'' il 4

Era ampiamente prevedibile, i rumor sulle 50 erano ben poco lusinghieri da mesi. Quando la scorsa estate avevo deciso di cambiare GPU con un budget di 6-700 euro per KCD2, MH etc. ero indeciso se prendere subito una 4070S, fra l'altro in un periodo dove le FE erano disponibili, o aspettare la 5070. Prima si rumoreggia che il nodo sia lo stesso, poi le spec leakate sono.... deludenti per fare un eufemismo -CUDA e vram sulla 5070 sono inaccettabili, poi si parla di lancio ritardato al CES e di scarse disponibilità.

Ma chi ha voglia di star dietro a questa roba. Tanto del MFG per giocare a mille milioni di FPS finti anche chi se ne frega, per il prossimo upgrade se ne parla quando hanno un +90% di uplift ad un prezzo ragionevole che non preveda tecnologie che mi fanno venire il mal di mare. Lieto di non averla presa nel sedere per non aver aspettato per una volta.

MSI/Asus che aumentano ogni tot giorni di un centone il prezzo di listino delle schede, con cooler ridicoli fra l'altro, sono incommentabili poi.
