Un sunto dei primi 30 minuti (su oltre un'ora) di podcast

30 minutes into listening to Nate's podcast predictions for the Partner Direct. Here's a summary so far:

• Nate thinks Atlus will show up and announce Metaphor ReFantazio is coming to Switch 2. Ideally it's a first half of the year release.
• Nate thinks this is the Direct that Bandai Namco will make a statement and re-reveal Elden Ring for Switch 2. "What I'm anticipating in the Direct in relation to this game -- if you recall, when Dark Souls came over to Switch, they released an amiibo. They did. I think they release an Elden Ring amiibo of some kind for Switch 2. Not sure what they'd choose for the amiibo."
• Nate says while he'd love to see Armored Core Fires of Rubicon on Switch 2 but he doesn't think it'd happen because it'd be too much From Software at the Direct.
• Nate brings up Bloober's Project M (the Nintendo exclusive project) to MVG and MVG thinks this Direct could be the venue for them to reveal what they've been working on for Nintendo.
• Nate thinks Capcom will have a presence in this Direct as they've been big supporters of the Switch 2 thus far. He thinks they will announce Monster Hunter Wilds: Switch 2 Edition. Nate also believes Capcom will announce the Pragmata public demo and its release date ahead of its release in April. The only thing that gives him hesitation is that Capcom may want to release the demo a bit later to limit the gap between the game's launch but he still thinks a demo is coming in general. He's not expecting anything else from Capcom in this Direct.
• Nate brings up The Witcher 3 DLC rumors and after a decent discussion, MVG settles on predicting on The Witcher 3: Switch 2 Edition with all the DLCs possibly being a thing.
• Nate thinks EA's Jedi games coming to Switch 2 makes sense but it depends on how they'd package them pricing wise and he wouldn't be shocked if EA did bring over the Mass Effect Trilogy to Switch 2. Nate says Battlefield 6 coming to Switch 2 could possibly happen but he doesn't see it happening personally because there would likely have to be a huge discussion on how much the game would have to be compromised in order to make that happen. And if the game has to be hugely compromised, it just wouldn't be worth it.
 
TW3 col DLC nuovo era pure una mia prediction buttata lì, sarebbe molto figo vederlo qui. E' una roba che non ti aspetti in un Direct un reveal da CDPR.

Mi stupisce che hanno tirato fuori Project M ma non Watari
 
Wilds è una bet interessante. Sappiamo che ci lavorano e il supporto free è finito. Avrebbe senso annunciarlo e confermare il DLC forse? O annunciano il port qui e il DLC da Sony, boh tutto è possibile.
 
Dite che ci scappa roba Sony o Microsoft? In uno ricordo ancora Patapon e Everybody golf

A mio avviso se Capcom vuole davvero hyppare la release su Switch 2 deve annunciare l'espansione insieme ad essa
 
Sempre Predictions:
Su Konami discutono su SH2 e f, ipotizzano possano esserci ma non sanno nulla di specifico. Nate ipotizza (e credo sappia) un nuovo Bomberman.

Idealmente sì. Il problema di un port ora con l'espansione che arriva dopo un anno (circa) è che stai dicendo alla gente "compra il gioco, anche se sarà pienamente completo fra un mese." In generale non annuncerei proprio l'espansione commercialmente parlando.
 
Io penso che prima di Giugno l'espansione non la presenteranno, dopo il disastro post lancio secondo me il DLC ha subito un bel delay e vorranno cucinarlo bene per evitare varie arrabbiature.
Inoltre i trailer di Wilds hanno un certo livello tecnico, sarebbe strano annunciare l'espansione con un trailer che ha target grafico switch 2

La versione PC di Rise uscì comunque a espansione già annunciata.

Comunque me lo aspetto con uscita maggio/primi di giugno con altri amiibo
 
Sempre su Konami speculano su Castlevania ma non sanno nulla (quanto cazzo sarebbe bello però il reveal del nuovo Castlevania).

Su MS:
Nate si aspetta la data di F4 (complice anche la fine della serie TV oggi) e Indiana Jones.
Ipotizza Oblivion (avendo sentito dei lavori l'anno scorso su SWC2) ma il gioco è ancora in pessime condizioni quindi è un boh.
Non si aspetta Starfield qui.
DOOM TDA non si aspetta sia qui. (MVG invece se lo aspetta)

  • Si aspetta un CoD, ma non BO7.
  • Ipotizza OW2, o Diablo IV o AoE2 o 4.

Nate predice il first Look a Sonic Frontiers "2" (non necessariamente con questo nome, ma sarà Frontiers 2 di fatto).

Sarebbe da sogno anche perché vorrei avere una versione retail di uno dei miei videogiochi preferiti di sempre .. ce l’ho e giocato su gog, steam e psn, ma sempre e solo digital

Continuerò a sostenere che The Witcher 4 ha più probabilità di essere su Switch2 rispetto a GTA6.

Almeno fino a che non accadrà
