VGC has heard from multiple sources that Ape Escape isn't the only PlayStation franchise Sony is looking to revive via licensing to smaller third-party studios.

In giro mi sembra sempre molto richiesto però.

-Puoi farci un TPS Shooter ( stile Gears Of War )

:dajee:

"It's, you know, I think they're going to go even deeper though. So with those, some of those PS1 games that could come back --- I mean, who knows what it looks like? But I mean, you definitely hear things like maybe Arc the Lad. And that's --- to me --- that's wild because it's like, I don't think I've ever run into anyone on the street who knows what Arc the Lad is in the way that they know what a Sly Cooper is. But you know, it turns out there actually is a pretty huge fan base for those games.

"Now, does that mean anything is happening? No, I have no idea. No idea. These are the kinds of things where it's very easy to look into a bunch of stuff and maybe something could happen. But I don't know. I would say that the chances are of, of them executing on any number of games that we could list here is probably still very slim.

"The bigger point is that they see this as the next thing to try after they were doing all the live service stuff. So you said it, hey, do something else --- you have to do something else for the love of God. And what other, like what, you know -- what could they do? Like what does that list look like of, okay, let's try another strategy. And so near the top has to be, get into to your bag, like recognize that you are PlayStation and you have a history, and there's some cool stuff to be done there. And I think that is happening. It's just, God, how long is it going to take to execute on?

"You would hope one of the benefits of maybe going down that route is deliver on some remasters or remakes that won't take as long. And that leads you to maybe some new games in these franchises. And then at the same time, you can maybe set the budget and set the scope of a new Ape Escape down just a touch. So it's not a seven-year development cycle, because that would be insane. You would hope that that is like a bunch of positives and a bunch of pros versus the cons for approaching a strategy that does involve bringing a lot of these franchises back."

Saranno ragionevoli a riguardo? Mah! :dsax:

Sony transfer 419 global VR patents to Meta
43 US-specific properties changing hands between June and September

Esatto! quello è il colpo di scena! :happybio:
