• Guns will be customizable, from semi auto triggers to fully auto, stocks, laser sight, flashlight that can blind enemies or kill lesser ones, scopes, red dot sights, and night vision.
• Ashley will have more commands, from picking up nearby object to throw and stun enemies, to running around and attraction attention to her
• Despite being very similar to the 2004 original, there will be branching paths, from tunnels, to nearby pillar boxes to snipe enemies below. Some will require a key item like an hourglass with three gems to enter
• Enemies have been upgraded from the initial gameplay trailer, no longer will they stand around while you smack one. If there is one next to you they will utilize the distraction to attack you by either grabbing you or slashing you.
• Many characters while are returning there will be some new ones
• Some characters like Luis will give you a choice throught the game to either help him, let him go alone, or have him tag along and help you save the presidents daughter
• Bosses can be fought earlier than intended, for example the village chief Mendez can be seen patrolling an area and confronted if you are feeling ready."

• Originally didn't want to do the remake
• Didn't want to start from scratch but rather dial things to 11
• Replayability and Flexibility on how you play were key pillars in development
• No QTES
• You can carry multiple knives (Game can also be beat with Knives Only)
• Laser Sight is an Upgrade, Yellow Herbs are in the game
• Ground Executions can prevent Plagas from forming
• R3 is used to command Ashley (She can follow closely or fall back but will not remain in one place)
• There are no dumpsters for Ashley to hide in this time
• Ashley does not have a health bar, but if she's damaged too much she will need to be revived. She'll die if attacked again in this state
• New Weapon "Bolt Thrower" has been added (Crossbow)
• New Enemy that wields a hammer and wears a bull mask
• More new enemies are also teased by Capcom
• There are sidequests in the game (can be numerous things to do such as fetch quests, puzzles, and more)
• Attache Cases can have perks now such as increasing ammo drops
• You can barricade during the house section like in RE2make
• The game blends Horror and Action very well
