Dear Mr. Brandis,
From your message below, we acknowledge your reasons to place our copyrighted material, however, we cannot withdraw any of our claims.
While it may work to promote an anime, placing film clips on a site like YouTube will definitely infringes the copyright holders in many ways. It does not matter whether or not it was done by good intentions; what matters is whether or not the film was placed on YouTube by a proper rights holder. One good example for your understanding will be usage of a short footage on a TV program promoting anime. When such a program is produced, the program producer will acquire licenses to use footages, in many times paying license fees for such usage. I hope you understand how the copyrighted materials should be used from this example.
If you still would like to place these clips to promote anime, please acquire licenses so that you can be an official licensee.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
Best regards,
King Records

Subject: kingrecords copyright claims on YouTube account of MikeUdine
Dear Gentlemen,
yesterday YouTube noticed me three Copyright Complains, which they received from your company.
These copyright notices are regarding three short videos with the OST music from the Anime series “Toradora!”.
...
I put those videos based on the “fair use” rule, and did not claim in the Italian description any right on the music, video or similar.
It was just a kind of propaganda for the Anime and entertainment purpose for the fans of this series.
You are certainly aware that the YouTube condition indicates the total closure of an account after the receipt of three copyright complains.
I do not believe you want the closure of my account and therefore I kindly ask you to retrieve and least two of your complains.
I would appreciate to receive at least a short reply on my message and looking confidential in your comprehension and positive reaction.
Yours faithfully
