Happy New Year 2026​

Goodbye to the tumultuous 2025. Thank you to the concluding 2025.​

Thanks to the support of many staffers and players, Fate/Grand Order has reached its final destination. The management policies implemented in 2025 had the goal of allowing as many Masters as possible to join the Final Chapter in December.

I'm deeply emotional at how, despite everything, I managed to reach the ending I've been imagining for 8 years.

"There is meaning in the end being delivered by the collective hands of the people who lived through these times and enjoyed the game together."

This belief got Part 2 started. At the night of December 27th, when the raids were over, I was also a regular player enjoying the game on my own phone, and being assailed by the sense of loss that comes with watching the conclusion. The lingering question of what will happen tomorrow. But in the next morning, I saw the cloudless sky and that loss turned into something warmer.

I'm glad today was a sunny day. I can move past these 10 years with a smile.

History moves forward, memories are overwritten, and one day this feeling of accomplishment will also weather away, but I believe I'll always remember the joy of how, on the morning of December 28th 2025, we all reached the same final stop through our collective efforts.

This blog is my place to post reviews of the games, manga, and movies I got to enjoy, but I know now is not the moment for it, so I'll keep it brief.

The one thing I can't go without mentioning is the terrifying J(made in France)RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Play it. Its combat was obsessively balanced to directly oppose the cliché that fighting regular enemies is just mindlessly pressing buttons. Its skill system is insanely clever despite how intuitive it is to play. The tender artstyle has universal appeal despite its distance from the standards, the character dialogue is witty, and above all else, the music tugs all heartstrings.

Entertainment knows no borders. While the gaming industry only gets more intense with time, I can't help but respect and admire what the Expedition 33 team accomplished.

Oggi parte Strange Fake.
Ricordo che il primo episodio è lo 0 (whispers of dawn) e 1 insieme, per chi li ha visti l'appuntamento è per il 10 con il secondo episodio.
 
Quindi posso iniziarlo davvero? Lacrimoni :bruniii:
 
Giusto per menzione, è partita la solita trafila di risposte online che si ripete ad ogni serie TM :asd:

Sono molto curioso di vedere recensioni dei novizi, bisogna guardare anche il pov di chi molte reference gli volano sopra la testa.
Ed è anche vero che Narita ha fatto una collection su queste cose.
Però secondo me si può apprezzare uno show senza capire tutto, magari ci torni se ti interessa e ti informi con altri media, vedremo.
 
Che poi voglio dire è una paranoia che non ho mai capito, l'unico show per capire Fate è FSN (dove effettivamente si può discutere se iniziare da UBW, il primo anime DEEN o la VN, ufotable deve porre fine a queste vicende completando la VN).
Poi ti si aprono le porte e puoi seguire tutto il resto senza un vero ordine, a discrezione di cosa ispira di più :asd:.

Questo strange Fake sicuramente si pone come tra i più comprensibili, probabilmente anche più godibile per chi cerca più azione come fu in Zero, anche se Narita ci ha messo delle chicchette extra Fate per i veterani, ma senza che la sua godibilità venga pregiudicata. Al massimo appunto ci ritorni e te ne rendi conto conoscendo meglio l'universo, ma è una cosa abbastanza normale.
